I ordered 1/2 a Pollo al carbon and I received 1/4 chicken. It was very dry. Also, the avocado was brown. Both servings looked at least a day old.I also ordered Parrillada for 2. It was very greasy. I never give bad reviews but when I sent the restaurant of the pictures of the completely brown guacamole and the 1/4 chicken, they refused to take care of the situation. I would love to post the pictures. Never again will I eat at this restaurant

While this place has a lovely decor, the food we had last night was far from fabulous.4 of us shared a parrillada and tamales. I kid you not when I say, they served the worst charro beans I have ever had. I wouldn't be surprised if they were running low on beans and decided to add more water, because that's what they tasted like. Watery beans.Personally, I like veggies, yet all the parrilladas in SA seem to minimize the grilled veggies and burn what IS offered on the skillet.The waitress was ok. She didn't seem to pay here me or remember what I ordered as she either forgot or brought the wrong things.Maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant. I'll try again in a couple years.

I swore I wouldn’t go back to another “Mi Tierra” restaurant again. 1st time I got cold enchiladas with unmelted cheese at the downtown location and was told that is how they are served, actually argued with by the server. When I explained I was from SA and not a tourist “shocked” by the server. The rim location uses liquid smoke for the beef fajitas. Not a very good taste in my opinion. Prices weren’t bad but I’d rather have gone somewhere else. I’d name 4 or 5 other places to go but I’m not that person.

The food was tasteless and had no flavor. I ordered the sour cream enchiladas. It was like they water downed sour cream & called it a sauce. The refried beans and rice were just as bad. No flavor. You can get better Mexican food through a fast food chain, than here. I would suggest to save your money.

The food was really good except the queso needed a little more salsa or something in it. My wife had enchiladas and said that they were really good. Normally she doesn't like restaurant enchiladas. I had the pork guisada and it was really good too.Our server was really bad though and it looked like everyone else was getting good service.

We are visiting SA and tried Mi Familia tonight. Great happy hour specials on margaritas. We tried a few different plates, sour cream enchiladas, cerviche and beef enchiladas. The queso flameado is a winner!
