Tasty fried Honduran fare. They were willing to make adjustments for vegetarian clients.Vegetarian options: 1 vegetarian item on menu, Other items, can be made without meat and they still taste good.

I had "enchiladas" and they were delicious. They're a tostada with beans, picadillo, cabbage and topped with pickled red onions.

At first glance you wouldn’t think this hole in the wall was there. I almost missed it driving by. It is a pretty small location. However, the food made up for it. It was surprisingly tasty! I’m not familiar with Honduran cuisine, the pictures were a helpful visual. The service was very fast and the waitress was kind. I was skeptical at first but pleasantly surprised with everything. The only downfall, if that, was payment method. They do charge a $5 fee to pay with debit/credit card. I did not have cash so the other option was Cash App or Zelle. Overall this place is great!

Very friendly service. The food was great. Everything made fresh to order.Parking: Has parking up front. It is hard to determine if they are open if light is not visible and cars not out front. They sell fresh juices that people pre-order and pick up.Kid-friendliness: Seats for little ones, put a small plate together for baby so she didn't have to wait until all dishes ready.

I have been going to this restaurant for decades, and love the food and location. But the last few times, the service has not been quite on point. Long periods of time between being seated and the first encounter with the server; again, from appetizer to entree; again from end of the meal to a return of the server to see if we wanted anything else and to get the receipt.

I love La Fonda! The patio is beautiful and the food is always delicious. My daughter loved the mixed fajita plate. It had a delicious Smokey taste. I loved the pepita crusted salmon over spaghetti squash. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. The margaritas were great, and I loved my sangria. Make reservations so you don't miss out!

As usual, La Fonda did not disappoint! The SALSA,though, was the best, freshest we have ever had!! The entrees were incredible and I am sure that we will drive from Houston to San Antonio with the express purpose of dining here again!! Simply put, the best dining experience we've had in a long while!!

We celebrated my birthday at LaFonda. Food was good, I wish we could have gotten a table outside...I am all about the ambiance!! Our server Rusty, was awesome! Very attentive and personable!

Off the menu empanadas Carne Guisado and Covina Veracruzano were great and the always wonderful Enchiladas Suizas didn't fail to repeat. Top shelf margaritas were just that. Service superb. Best “fancy” interior Mexican in SA.

Next time we'll dine outdoors...their patio is lovely and so inviting. Lunch crowd was busy but drinks and food were great...had the brisket tacos which were delicious - will try fish ones next.

Absolutely incredible! For an appetizer we had the carne guisada appetizer which had amazing flavor. Then I ordered the Tex Mex Deluxe with beef fajitas, one cheese enchilada, and a tamale. Everything tasted perfect!

La Fonda is one of my favorite restaurants. Food is good. Service is good. It has a great ambience and the patio is good when the weather is nice. They have heaters now on the patio for those Winter or late Spring days when it's a little cool. I'll keep going to La Fonda.

La Fonda has changed over the years. The menu is diverse , not just Tex Mex, but you can still get Tex Mex favorites, if that's what you want. One thing that hasn't changed is the ambiance and good service. The food was excellent and the gigantic staghorn fern in the tree was an added bonus.

I was served their waffle breakfast and found it incomparable. It was simply outstanding I do not normally have a large appetite; rather, I have a small appetite. But, I could easily have consumed another of the same order. It was so good. Of six of us at the table, two others had the same order, and one made the same comments as I do, above.
