First of all very loud and echoey. Chips and salsa came quickly. Red sauce was just too hot without flavor. Green sauce just had no flavor. We both ordered taco al carbon with beef. Very ordinary . Really no flavor. Refried beans were kind of watery. Rice was dry and crunchy. We should have kept driving and gone to El Charro T in Brenham. We will not go back.

Does anyone know if this restaurant is still open? They don't answer the phone I would like to take my family over the holidays. Thank you

Looked great online, but when I got there today it said closed as of 10/11/21. Disappointed to see that it was closed but there are plenty of other places around

The margaritas are fabulous and the chips, salsa and queso are fabulous too. I would recommend this restaurant

There are several options for Tex-Mex along the Riverwalk, so choose wisely. My group stopped in here because it was close to our boat stop. Late lunch time (around 1) was not too crowded and quick service. I had a Mango salad with creamy cilantro dressing and it was just what I needed, in the midst of eating so much heavy food. The people I ate with both ordered burritos and they were huge, easily splittable. Our waiter, Leo, was wonderful. He got us refills of water and tea quickly and frequently. Overall, a great little lunch stop on the river.

Nice place to get out of the heat and try some tasty Tex Mex food. We enjoyed the chicken nachos with the crispy cheesy nacho chips topped with sour cream and guacamole and jalapeños. The beef quesadillas were really good as well. The salsa is served warm and the chips are thin and crispy. We had attentive and friendly service.

Great food, great atmosphere, great waitress. I was so happy that we were able to get in and seated with 0 wait time. We'd stopped at a few other places before knowing this place existed and couldn't be seated because they were at full capacity. Our waitress Renee was friendly, fast and efficient. We will definitely be back.

We stopped in for a quick bite and had a few appetizers. Food was good and service fine, place was clean, nothing special

Gave the restaurant a 2 star rating for cleanliness and nice servers. They even gave us a complimentary photo. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. The guacamole was bland, no cilantro or garlic. The salsa was bland as well. The mango salad was mediocre at best. The price was higher probably because the restaurant is right next to the river boat tour entrance.

Needed to wait for a bit while family from out of town went on a boat ride, and decided to have a drink and some queso and chips. First off, our waiter was rude and short with us. He really hates his, and needs to retire. I know servers work for their tips, but he definitely wasn't working for his! He never came back until he gave us the bill, and seemed bothered to refill our drinks when we asked if we could have some more refills. SMH The queso and chips were tasty, the fried flour chips were really good and I wish they offered more with the huge amount of melted cheese. The other chips in the basket (regularly offered) we're ok, just tasted like store bought chips out of a bag. I'm really surprised to see that the restaurant gets a "A" grade in their window. It wasn't very clean feeling or looking. Bathroom was ok. No paper on the floors, but it didn't smell clean, water all over the counter, soap scum too. Not coming here again. Sorry tourists...in advance.....there are better places down the River walk. Walk a little further....don't stop here!!

Me and my husband have been here plenty of times before we actually I have came back multiple times with friends and family. Be prepared they will take your picture, but they do come out really nice not bad for the price. Every encounter has always been really great and the food is amazing for authentic Mexican food. I don't think I ever had a dish that wasn't good. And the waiters are always at attentive and making sure we have everything we need. Chips and salsa is always really get to the only suggestion I would have is maybe the hostess upfront who actually take your name down be a little bit more happy about being at work. Try the Mango mojito!!

The service was absolutely horrible. It took ten minutes for the waitress to come to my table, and then she brought me a completely flat soda. When I tried to return it, she asked me 'we'll do you want water or sweet tea then". She then told me that all of the sodas were flat and when o asked why she didn't tell me that at first she refused to answer me. She did not apologize either. The food took forever and the portions are small with expensive prices. $18.49 for three small flautas. The waitress also did not come to the table again the entire time I was there.

We were there during Fiesta week so they were very busy but they gave us the option of sitting at the bar. Great idea! We were seated and taken care of by the nicest bartenders around! Of course the huge Margarita helped...LOL. Food was huge (I was reminded that everything is bigger in Texas). Tasty and for being so busy, service was great!
