Atmosphere is romantic. Friendly staff, service was on point. Delicious Panang Curry, Amazing Thai sculptures decorate the walls. Plenty of parking.
Mon Thai has been around for awhile and kinda still feels like it. Seems to need a bit of freshening up with decor and ambiance. Had Pad Thai and unfortunately, noodles were sticky and mushy. Service was ok but expected a bit more overall. Might eventually try again to see if I was there on an off night.
My last visit did not reflect the same quality, flavors and freshness. I hope it was an off day as Mons used to be a favorite.
Pretty decent sushi. But pretty dirty, would not comeback
Mon Thai Bistro is very unpredictable... We got pad Thai, Vietnamese eggrolls and regular eggrolls..The chicken used was a day old...my egg rolls were greasy and very disappointing..I've had delicious food here before but the last couple of times unpalatable... Sa
We had lunch here, dine in, for the first time today. My husband and I each ordered our favorite Thai dishes from the lunch menu. Each was really good! The service was friendly, professional and fast. We had a tough time finding the restaurant and entrance. The sign on the outside of the building should be repainted a more visible color. A marquee near the street would help, too...and we live in the neighborhood! Nice place.
First time dining in and we had Adam as our server he did a magnificent job in making our experience easy and fast. Great selection in sushi very fresh nothing smelled fishy. The fried rice was delicious. It had a good charr to it. The selection of our drinks were at great quality. I had the veggie sushi roll and couldn't help but get 2 more since they were filled with fresh veggies. Will be back.
I'm really torn between the 3 or 4 star! I'm going to go with 4 because the service was good. Food came out quickly. Good prices.Honestly, this would be a good spot to do takeout. Solid food. Not the best thai food you'll ever had, but good. The thai food is better than the sushi.I would go back here in a heartbeat when I need a pad thai fix.
Service was great but unfortunately Sushi was really bad . It was really dry. sauce was extremely thick and avocado was dark I was soo disappointed because there sushi had awesome reviews guess it was the person who made the sushi . He didn’t even put an effort to make it look tasty ??? Heb sushi taste better and fresher.
This place is excellent ! The sushi is presented beautifully and it is delicious. Tried the rice soup this time and it was yummy! For dessert, you've got to try the sticky rice and ice cream ?
Great restaurant that I've been going to for thirteen years and still one of my favorite casual spots.
They have a mask optional policy which I loved since I'm fully vaccinated. My chicken satay was yummy and my cucumber salad was good too. The service was prompt and efficient. I feel like I need to try a few more things from the menu to give a broader review. My lunch mate told me the pad thai was delicious so I want to try that next.
Delicious sushi! Good selection of rolls. I like the Spicy Dragon and Wild Tuna. They all tasted great and are so beautiful. They are a little pricey and kind of small. So make sure to get there for happy hour from 3pm-5pm for sushi discounts. Oh and the Spicy Edamame is a great way to start it off.
Fantastic Duck curry! Tiger (steak) appetizer was also juicy and FULL of flavor.
I haven't been here in several years, and couldn't wait to have the pad woonsen. They bring out a soup appetizer automatically and it is delicious. We had chicken lettuce wraps, which were good. Now for the bad news, the pad woonsen had a smoky scorched flavor. The general flavor beyond that was somewhat washed out. The service was responsive and friendly, but getting a check and paying took a hot minute. Sadly, pad woonsen is my singular Thai go to, so I won't be going back.
