We were so happy to find something open early- ordered a cute tiny espresso, breakfast tacos and some fresh pan dulce (apple cinnamon) empanada. We ordered at the counter but the cashier delivered to our table.

Service was good. Food excellent. I had the spinach enchiladas. And we also had the table side guacamole. The two people I was with had combo platters. Food delicious.

Order at counter. Not particularly busy. Ordered rancheros off menu - no changes. Waited half an hour for somewhat warm refried beans that had already begun to harden. Eggs the same and were not as ordered, and breakfast potatoes that appear to have been frozen. Yuck. Will not return.

Very nice atmosphere. Can get busy at lunch. Excellent meals. Go with the most popular and you want be disappointed

In the middle of such a historic place lies an eatery that has the feel of the past. I was here for the Dia de los muertos festivities and needed a quick bite. The line was long but based on the event it's understandable. The Creamy Poblano soup was perfect. The sausage and egg taco was filling and the Chicken wrap was tasty. Good choice for a unique day.

Food is amazing. Blueberry pancakes are to die for. Super nice staff! Had the village breakfast and added blueberries to the pancakes. A little pricy for breakfast but worth the price.

This cafe is super quiet and the food is very fresh. I had the salmon salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be returning.

Just had breakfast. Chorizo and eggs taco and a veggie and egg taco. They were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The soft tortillas were so soft and perfect. The service was excellent. Definitely have to go back for more when im back in San Antonio!

needed a quick bite before we started shopping. i had avocado toast. he had bacon egg taco. the menu didn't say the avocado toast had tomatoes in it but it did. yuck. i don't like tomatoes so picked them off. should have got my eggs over medium. these were over easy but they still had some runny whites which is gross. husband liked his taco just fine. i bet they have good lunch.

Self seat restaurant. Walk up to counter to order your food. But oh my the counter waitress Elisha , was so AWESOME!, she explained the menu in detail. M husband ordered The Village Breakfast with a small coffee and Gator Aid. I ordered The Alamo Benedict with a Ice Mocha Coffee. The food was fresh and good.

We had a warm greeting upon arrival. In our party, we ordered chorizo & egg tacos, brisket & egg tacos, bacon & egg tacos, pancakes and sides of potatoes. The potatoes were very fresh and well seasoned. The pancake was fluffy and good. We were a little disappointed in the tacos. The chorizo was a little burnt and there was very few bacon pieces on the bacon & egg taco. However, the brisket taco was good and would've been even better with some sort of sauce. We were given salsa on the side and it seemed very watery with no flavor. The iced coffee was delicious!

L After waiting 53 minutes for our order it still wasn't correct! Servers attempted to correct the problem however even that didn't make up for the long wait. Only received our order once we asked where our order was the excuse was the printer had jammed and they didn't have our ticket. Food was OK. Service was in need of more diligent observation of who the customers are and when they are served

Was in San Antonio for 3 days and came here twice for breakfast. Got an omelette with chorizo both times- delicious! Very friendly staff!

This has got to be the best place I found here in downtown San Antonio! This place is tucked away in the La Villita village. It's not to small lot of room . The Alamo Benedict is the BEST! Service is great!
