This review is for a wedding cake. My (now wife!!!!) and I had a bakery set to make and deliver our wedding cake. The wedding was for April 13th and this bakery, who we met with and decided on in December, unfortunately closed down literally a month later due to funding and we were left without a cake, four months before the wedding. We started asking around for a bakery we could rely on and were unanimously recommended Nadler's. When we told Nadler's the reasoning behind us coming in (admittedly very late) and seeking a cake, they were sympathetic and ready to help us with pricing (we lost funding due to the last cake fiasco) and timing. We wanted a simple cake with a specific icing pattern and boy did they deliver. As the bride most in charge of planning the wedding, they were also fantastic at not once reaching out to me the day of the wedding. I gave them contact information for our coordinator and she handled everything. I don't even know when the cake arrived (which is good, I was far too busy that day to be worrying about something like cake delivery timing), but I know it looked AMAZING and tasted even better by the time I got to the ceremony. We dropped off the greenery and cake topper we wanted them to use ahead of time and they did a fantastic job setting it up and making it look beautiful. It also just cut fantastically. I could not have asked for a better experience or a better cake. Additionally, leading up to the big day we called them several times (that was on me, experiencing a slight pre-wedding panic) to confirm delivery times, when we had to drop the greenery off to them, and other small details. They were responsive and understanding each time. Yay!

Custom cakes typically have a 3-5 day notice required for online orders and overall preferred are preferred, an exception was made for me which only reaffirms my love for this place. My wife has so many fond memories here ordering different treats with her grandmother who is no longer with us. Friendly staff and fun environment is wonderfully topped off by the aroma of freshly baked goods. They also make sandwiches which are delicious by all standards and include a side. Highly recommend this place to all!

Nadler's Bakery by far has been the most authentic in San Antonio. Their kitchen magic in their cookies to danishes to cakes, we have never had a negative experience. The strawberry and cream cake is so good! For us it's a sweet stop and hits the spot! ?

Great bakery, everything is a absolutely delicious here!
I just recently discovered this place while trying to find Mexican wedding cookies, because local stores no longer carry them. My experience was great and they had everything I needed and more. Other than looking around and not being able to decide what else I want it was very quick in and out and staff was amazing and helpful. My family loves wedding cookies and this is the only place I have been able to find them so far in town and have been coming back several times for them all with great experiences.

My husband has been getting me a strawberry whipped cream Valentine's and birthday cake from Nadlers since 2000. We've been married for 24 years. The desserts and food here are amazing. Thank you for making every year just as lovely as the last. ?
Ordered a small wedding cake for a family wedding. It was perfect - white chocolate champagne with raspberry filling! The BEST!

Banana cream pie was lacking banana flavor. Ordered a banana cream pie but tasted like a vanilla custard. Also, the description made no mention of a dark chocolate layer on the pie crust which added another layer of disappointment. It did look very nice though. (unable to load photo)

This place has been around since the 60s and looks like it, but that's part of the charm. Everyone I have dealt with here has been friendly. I've only tried their food options once but it was tasty. The pastries and cakes are the star attraction though. Just got a cheesecake from here for Valentine's Day and it was amazing.
