About Nama Ramen

Nama Ramen offers a mixed dining experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is basic, lacking a distinct theme or ambiance. Customers have noted the unusual "order at the counter, get it yourself" setup, which may suggest staffing issues.

However, the food receives more positive reviews. The ramen, particularly the spicy version, is described as flavorful, though some find it lacking in heat. The katsudon is praised as tender and savory. The sushi, on the other hand, is criticized as flavorless and poorly prepared. Customers also enjoy dishes like ribeye bits served with garlic butter noodles, goyza, and fried or steamed rice, with many describing the food as perfect and worth trying despite its high price. The eggs and meat are often highlighted as exceptional, and the ramen is considered nearly perfect.

Despite the mixed reviews, Nama Ramen seems to excel at its ramen and entrees such as the garlic pork rib tonkotsu and chicken tori paitan. Customers find the food consistently satisfying and recommend it especially for its delectable ramen and katsudon dishes. The service is often praised for being friendly and nice. However, there are concerns about parking, as the small lot is not suitable for car meets and has issues with illegal parking in handicap spots.

was looking for a spot and someone told me it was the most amazing ramen ever...ehhhhhhh. Definitely wasn't. It was only okay. No forks. No kids options. ONE roll was on the menu. Lost my license and haven't been able to contact them because phone number is disconnected and no social media presence. I'm good on it...not writing home.

this was the first time eating here and it was amazing . will be coming back again.

Food is amazingly good but servers/waitstaff/host can learn to back off a bit. I felt so rushed to leave. We had just received our food for like 5 minutes and the ticket was placed on our table. Then maybe another 10 minutes pass and I’m asked if I need a to-go plate??? Like I’m still eating!! When I said no I’m then asked to pay. Within 35 minutes of arriving we were already leaving because it was just one thing after another.
