My boyfriend and I stumbled across near dark randomly recently. We walked in and Jenn was so attentive and made us a special drink upon request! The playlist was top tier. My boyfriend and I jammed out and knew every song! 10/10 would recommend! Coffin coffee was outstanding! Sweet but still strong. Aesthetic is everything and more you would want.

A very unique dive bar. Chill atmosphere and good drinks. Awesome music plays all night. Super nice bartenders. Highly recommend if you like alternative/rock music and the vibe that comes with it

We found this interesting bar while hanging out downtown. The ambiance was notably dim, illuminated only by small candles on tables. If you're not a fan of low-light settings, it might not be your ideal spot. I tried the Stay Freaky cocktail, which was great, but the Cucumber Vodka shot was my favorite! The bartender was very attentive and nice. In short, Near Dark is a cool spot to grab a quick drink.

Don't ever support this bar. The owner is a known abuser. Hits his girlfriend all the time, gets drunk at his own bar and starts being rude to paying customers. He is very violent and dangerous. He doesn't deserve to operate a business, probably needs hard jail time for hitting girls proudly in public

Incredible vibe! Accomplishes the dark/emo vibe in a classy yet down-to-earth way with a 5/5 delivery on drinks and service. A must-visit for all fans of monsters, horror, and spirits!

If I could leave a lower review and star I would. First I'm going to start off with Frank the owner likes to abuse his girlfriend. For being such a small man you sure do like to hit her. I guess to prove your a man? Time and time you manipulate yourself to act like you'll change. Only to get drunk and bust her lip. Your really a p.o.s that people should know how you actually are towards woman. Plus your ugly. I hope karma comes around because you deserve every ounce of it.

This is my second time around in a year and it absolutely did not disappoint. I love the espresso martini. It is really hard to find someone who can mix coffee well with alcohol and hands-down. They do it extremely well I'm so thankful that this cute little place is in Southtown near home. cocktails are outstanding & amazing.
