It seemed as if we were being rushed when we were eating. My sister was asked if she needed a to go box for her food. We were still eating!!! I could go on and on about my experience, but I will finish this by saying, look at your ticket for extra charges you weren't expecting.
We stopped in to celebrate our son's 12th birthday, his wish was to go plane spotting as a family. My husband remembered from his childhood how close the planes would fly while coming in to land at the airport so we decided to visit again. Best choice ever! The staff is kind, courteous and attentive. The patio is absolutely perfect for plane spotting! It is beautiful with an amazing garden themed atmosphere. Nicha's Comida Mexicana - Southside offers a variety of delicious meals that impress customers with their authentic Mexican flavors. The huevos rancheros and huevos divorciados for breakfast were perfectly cooked, although some dishes needed more seasoning. The poblano chicken enchiladas, chipotle chicken enchiladas, and green enchiladas were flavorful, and the refried beans tasted fresh. The Mexican Plate, which includes cheese enchiladas with chili con carne, a beef puffy taco, bean tostada, charro beans, and rice, has also received positive remarks. The staff provided friendly and attentive service, making the dining experience enjoyable. It is important to note that the restaurant can be quite busy, especially on weekends, so customers should be prepared to wait. While the bar selection may be limited, the special watermelon margarita and fabulous margaritas received high praise. The quesabirrias stood out with their warm and wonderful flavor, complemented by a tasty broth. The enchiladas were the star of the show, featuring red corn tortillas wrapped around melted cheese and topped with chile con carne. Overall, Nicha's remains a great choice for tasty Mexican food at affordable prices, although parking can be a challenge. Customers are advised to check their receipts, as some have reported that tips may be included and that special pricing may not always apply.
