I came here before and had the absolute best breakfast tacos of my life here. The service was so friendly and prices were always great! I look forward to coming back every time in in SA.
I love it here

I tuck off in this place when I want just some simple breakfast! Nice prices and wholesome family atmosphere. Sad part is they think I don't speak Spanish. ! So yea ! I'll just leave that here.
This is a great restaurant for Mexican food. They serve fresh hand-made tortillas with your meal. The tea is brewed and served with lemon. Great lunch prices!
awesome chicken fajita taco
but took to long to get it
I ordered take-out because I felt it would be more cost efficient to feed a family of four. I SPECIFICALLY asked for red Salsa. I specifically said like the one you serve on the table, not the GREEN you offer for take out. And I ordered a larger size. THEY GAVE ME THE GREEN ONE! I called to see if I can get it replaced. They answered, I started talking, and they hung up on me! Food can be great. But if your service is bad, then good food doesn't always help.
Service was fast and friendly and the food was on point. This is your standard for Tex-Mex in San Antonio and probably the world if you think about it. When people ask what Tex-Mex is, this is one of the places I recommend.
Oblate cafe has the best tacos I’ve eaten so far in San Antonio, these tacos are second to none. I highly recommend trying out this cafe and give it a chance you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again. Great service.
Never in a million years that I have gone to this restaurant have I sat in there and waited for a server to take my order. I walked in and owner greeted us.We sat in front table and no one came but 4 guys sure got their order taken before I walked out. I guess my money was not good for this establishment.
If I could find anything less than a star, I will use it. Worst place to order food. This lady at the register always overcharges me for Sausage and egg taco at $2.99 instead of $2.89 when paid in cash. Yesterday, another staff member charged me $2.89 cash for same taco. Today, I walked in there and she took my order and charged me $2.99. Immediately, I told her I was charged $2.89 for same taco and now she charges me $2.99. She became furious and angry towards me for no reason. She went and looked at the menu in front of me and adjusted the price. I asked her, how about all these weeks I have been paying 10c extra every day I walked in here, she pounced on me with name calling, racial slurs and asked me not to come in here. I just found out that she’s not a manager nor owner. She needs to be terminated immediately or she will get hurt if she continues like this with other people. Please do NOT order from this place.

I loved this place. I had been looking for this authentic taste for a very long time. Something like since 2000. This place is one of the locals' best kept secrets. If you want to taste San Antonio heritage this is it.

I was disappointed in the restaurant. I truly wanted to like it but so far the worst place I have been in San Antonio. Service was horrendous took a while to be greeted, then again to receive drinks...coffee...never checked in on us etc. I guess the waitresses too busy walking around for everyone to see them in their costumes. Never returning. If you are looking for tex-mex/mexican food there are so many other places to go to.
