The food is always hot and great tasting. My family has eaten at this place for over 25 years and it has the same authentic savory food until now. We will travel over 150 miles to buy tamales for our special holidays. It's one of the best little Mexican restaurants that we frequent when we visit San Antonio.
I spent about $60 on Barbacco, tamales, Chicharron, you name it, for the family, only for them to forget the green chile! I called to inquire about what they had missed, and they responded with an attitude as if I was a nuisance. So, I drove back to get the green cup of chile after 20 minutes of back and forth. When I arrived at the location, I mentioned that I was the one who called about the missing item, and they handed me two with an attitude, as if they were doing me a favor. Never again.

The overall experience was terrible. Multiple people explained to the front clerk that the menudo tasted funny, but it made sense when I saw the cook pour the menudo out of a plastic jar and put it back into the freezer.

We just had a delicious lunch of fresh Chile Rellenos. Amazing!! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff outstanding!! Next time we plan to try Carne Guidada!!
