Eddy said he for coke for sale. After I gave him money and waited for 45 mins. He wanted to fight me. He usually has good coke but not this time
First time here from out of town and the bartenders were rude I had to approach them myself and say “hello” to get a drink. One of them was nice enough to help me the rest were very unprofessional only helping who they knew. For the first time here the music was awesome the bartenders I rate them a 1.

Horrible I don't recommend this place. Don't waste your time at this bar there are plenty of other places to go in the area. This place is not it take my word or suffer the consequences.
Johnathan was great!! Drinks were amazing too!
So our experience tonight at 8pm. We are locals. We had just got off of work and said we were going to be away from work and the kids for the night. This was our first stop and we only ordered one drink and that would be our only drink for the night. As we got in we decided to dance because it is a play list we enjoyed. My niece had on new sandals and the side slide causing her to fall over. You would think any of the staff would had come to check on her but nooo. Bartenders were laughing and security came over and not asked once if she was OK. They came over and said we had to leave.
THIS PLACE SUCKS! THEY ARE VERY RASICT HERE! Got kicked out for dancing and having some good laughs with my girls! Said we were to drunk and we definitely were not! If you are looking for fun this ISNT the place!! ZERO STARS !!
I love this place tbh but let people dance! I got kick last night cuz apparently I was intoxicated? I only have 3 beers! And I still got kick out??? Bruh y’all need to chill out or have some more humble bouncers! Im a cage fighter and y’all bouncers really piss me off! Last night cuz I was dancing? That’s wild! Also the bouncers was trying to not let me get my card or stuff back? That’s really wild!

The cover charge is not worth it. My husband and 4 other friends were having a good time and then a bouncer just came up and said my husband was "too intoxicated" when he was just dancing. My husband headed out, but I'm still curious what we did wrong? This bar really needs better training.

Buy a drink quick or they'll kick you out.

Me and my husband met up with some friends here to start a bar crawl; this was supposed to be the very first bar we went to. My husband goes to order his first drink of the night and they give him his drink before taking it back before he can even take his first sip. They tell him they’re kicking him out for being too intoxicated (mind you he’s sober and hadn’t drank anything yet). My husband offered to do a sobriety test to prove he wasn’t intoxicated or to at least go back in and let our friends know he was being kicked out. They refused to let him prove he was sober and wouldn’t let us back in to notify our friends. This was our first time coming to this bar and we definitely will not be coming back if they treat their customers like this.
Edit to add: after reading other recent reviews, it seems they are in the habit of kicking people out for no reason and saying it’s because the patron is too intoxicated. 100/10 do NOT recommend coming here, and if you do expect to be kicked out if the staff doesn’t like you for any number of reasons.

I’ve been to this place 2 times and every time I give the door lady 100 I get back 30$ for only paying 20 plus 10 dollar tip , why even tip if they are gonna take your money anyways . My business colleague and I were very disappointed. And dose not recommend coming here . Thank you

Tonight, my wife and I decided to venture out for a long-overdue date night with a group of friends at On the Rocks Pub San Antonio, we hadn’t visited this place before. As an African American Army and Air Force veteran I’ve faced my share of challenges, but nothing quite prepared me for the blatant racism we encountered at this establishment.
The evening started well enough. The bar itself seemed charming, with a cozy, rustic ambiance that seemed perfect for our first night out together in months. My wife and I found seats at the bar and I ordered 1 drink for my wife as I DO NOT drink alcohol. The staff seemed courteous at first, and we settled in, relishing the opportunity to catch up after being separated by my wife’s deployment.
As we talked and laughed, my wife leaned her head on my chest in a simple, affectionate gesture. It was a small moment, filled with the comfort and love we’ve been missing for so long. Unfortunately, that moment was abruptly interrupted.
The bouncer approached us with a stern expression and, without any prior warning, told us we had to leave. When I asked why, he coldly stated that they didn’t allow such behavior in their establishment and “they did not want to take a risk”. I was taken aback. We were just sitting and talking, like any other couple. My wife, feeling comfortable and loved, had simply rested her head on my chest.
I explained that she was my wife and that we hadn’t seen each other in months and we haven’t even had ONE drink yet hoping for some understanding. However, the bouncer remained unyielding, insisting that we leave immediately. The hostility in his tone and the looks we received from other staff made it clear that this was not just about a “risk” – it was about the color of our skin. As there wasn’t any other African Americans there at the time.
The experience was deeply hurtful and completely unwarranted. We felt targeted and judged for a simple, innocent act of affection. It was a stark reminder that racism is still very much alive and can rear its ugly head in the most unexpected places.
We left the bar feeling disheartened, but more determined than ever to find a place where we could enjoy each other’s company without judgment. No one should have to face such hostility and discrimination for simply expressing love and affection. This establishment, with its racist staff and unwelcoming atmosphere, won’t be seeing us again. We hope that others especially military and prior military can learn from our experience and choose to patronize places that celebrate love and respect for all. I was so disgusted by their actions that immediately after this situation I took my time to write this review. I hope the owners don’t share the same type of values that their employees do.
