Ordered several times and things were fine until most recently I ordered a dish that I usually don’t and it arrived with where the entrée should be filled with rice and where the sides are halfway filled up with what the entrée should be. Next time I order, he calls me and is upset an cancels my order since I cited the issue with DoorDash, and he also was upset that I ordered on DoorDash and not with his personal service, which wouldn’t make sense for me being that I pay for Dash Pass, and when I looked at his site, it cost a lot more to order through his service. Anyway, he requested that I not order from them again. Food is ok but portions are subject to be minimal and not in line with what you would expect.

I ordered Fufu and Egusi soup, fried plantains, and the jollof rice for my brother and I to try for his 19th birthday. I ordered online for pickup and through no fault of the owners, the pickup time was for two hours after the order was placed ( so if you're wanting to pick up around the time you place the order id call). Although it was my mistake, the owner was very polite, kept contact, and was more than willing to make my order ahead of its online scheduled time and remained in good spirits! Once we got our food, it was AMAZING!!!! Perfectly flavored and you can tell it was made with care! So good! Will definitely order again!

Even with a 25 min drive away to get home the food was still nice and hot when I got home! It was my first time ever trying this and I was very pleasantly surprised! I ordered when I got there and I waited less than 10 mins! Great service!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Soo glad we found this place! We had an African restaurant near us that we loved, but it closed unexpectedly. So we were pleasantly surprised to find this one. The owner is extremely nice. And even messaged us to make sure we enjoyed the meal afterwards. Can't wait to go back!

I loved the egusi and fufu and also the coconut rice was also delicious. I needed to STOP and STEP BACK lol or I would of ate the whole thing and not share ☺️
The customer service was amazing! They brought it to my car and communicated throughout the delivery. The fufu was perfect and the Egusi was so flavorful and rich. 10/10 recommend. I also got the plantains and it was the perfect break between savory and sweet.
