What has happened.... What a HUGE disappointment.... The signature shrimp Paesanos is nothing more than a 'glorified' fried shrimp. No flavor!!!! I've known this place for over 30 years.... It has not aged well. From the ' Pizzashaker ' of parma cheese to the bland olive oil dip... completely uninspired and tired. This will be my last visit and we drove from Maryland!!! Our walk down memory lane was shattered... we lived in San Antonio in the mid 70's and this was our favorite.. they have lost their recipes and mojo!

The blackberry old fashioned was like drinking Ancient Age with a splash of tap water. The pizza was what you'd expect from a bowling alley. Hardly worth 30$ for the two items...

This was the first time I ate at this restaurant as it's in a very nice area in Lincoln Heights. The service was OK. The food was not very good and the silverware smelled like hot trash. There was other customers complaining about it as we were walking out. I ended up leaving most of my meal as my wife did too.

The Shrimp Paesanos and Snapper Cevichi were both very good. Pork Osso Buco on the other hand was not worth eating. The Pork Shank was probably boiled or maybe baked until it was tendert was precooked it was topped with and that was the only thing it had going for it was tenderness. After it was pre-cooked then topped with cut canned tomatoes and sliced carrots, maybe some seasonings but, I really couldn't tell, then warmed. Now I've had Osso Buco in Italy and a number if other restaurants that got it right and it was delicious. This was not that. I can only suggest that you order one of the good entrees and avoid what they call Osso Buco at all costs. I gave it 3 stars because I had 2 very good dishes and one that failed miserably.

Went for a celebration of life gathering and the room was great, the service was great, the food was good. The video presentation equipment was a bonus, but the audio mic was not up to par.

While the food tasted delicious there were 2 things that I feel should be improved. The size of some of the dishes seemed a bit lacking, with the Mushroom Ravioli with Pesto as an example. It came out with only 4 ravioli. The other knock I had was how slow things came out. It took 12 minutes just for my Coors Light to come out. Because this is all stuff I feel is easy correctable, Id still recommend dining here. Make sure to order the Shrimp Paesano to start the night.

So disappointed. I happened to be at an appointment in the area and thought I'd get our Friday night pizza from Psesanos. I'm thinking authentic Italian pizza. Well...it was not. I ordered Margarita pizza, imagining yummy Woodfired crust, sauce, real mozzarella on top and basil. It was more like a frozen hard pizza crust, sauce, huge slices of tomatoes (which is not authentic Italian) a bit of mozzarella with basil that had been baked (which is supposed to be added after baking.I pulled off tomatoes, thinking at least crust and sauce might be tasty, but it was crunchy flavorless crust. In the garbage it went! My husband had a combo pizza. He said, "thus is the worst pizza I ever tasted!" That went in garbage too. I also ordered an arugula salad with goat cheese. We had a few bites. It was fine but not for $15 price tag. This was my second try with Paesanos for dining. Skip it and go to Italy or North Italia.

Stopped in tonight for an Easter dinner with my parents and was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and excellent, professional, & accurate service we received from our server Mary. She was very patient with my parents and took time to explain the menu to my parents. This was my first time here and I will be back for certain. Mary also threw in some of the fruit bread with the leftovers we were unable to finish. I had the Pollo Al Limon, and it was wonderful. I recommend

You wouldn't expect to find good Italian food on the Riverwalk, but Paesanos is good. Put them on the list, and sit outside to watch the Riverwalk. It's worth it

A friend and I decided to meet for drinks after work for the happy hour at Paesanos. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty busy so we went ahead and sat in the bar area. The happy hour is great and offers both snacks and cocktails. I ordered the bruschetta and a glass of wine while my friend ordered the espresso martini (considered a house martini during happy hour). We stayed once happy hour ended as well aended up trying the garlic bread and a few more cocktails- yum! The food was good, the cocktail was great and the service really was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back!

I was seated by the hostess right away. Waiter Colton took my drink order and brought it quickly and even refilled it once but that was it. I sat for almost an hour at my table without my waiter stopping back by to take my order. And sadly, he walked by me several times and didn’t make eye contact. And to top it off, a family of six came in after I received my ice tea and was seated across from me got their drink orders and appetizers right away.
