I don't know why there are so many horrible reviews of this place. We have always loved Paesanos and just had another great dinner there. Our server was Judith and she was perfect! The food was amazingly good (seafood trio), the bread is one of our favorite things there. Caesar salad and raspberry creme brulee were also very good.

This place is amazing. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the ambiance was elegant. There were people celebrating weddings, prom, and birthdays. I will definitely go back.

Writing this review from my toilet because obviously something wrong happened with our plates. Both adults in the household ordered the same thing and we both are sick. Wait staff wasn’t attentive to our party, I really just wanted a refill on my drink and I never got it. We had an infant and he spilled the water on the table, the waitress made it a big deal.. it was clearly an accident. Had we been given a high chair, we wouldn’t have had to seat him on the table. We had a large party so of course we knew we would have to pay extra gratuity, but we couldn’t even sit comfortably. The chairs between our table and the table behind us were touching (that table also smelled like w33d, the smell was overpowering and made us extremely uncomfortable). For the price, I expect to NOT get food poisoning, I expect to have my drinks refilled at a minimum and for at least walking room. Not immediately offering a high chair is unacceptable. We won’t be returning, this is Olive Garden with dimmed lights.

Unfortunately very lackluster. Food was trying to be what it's not. Spaghetti had a strange flavor and the meat sauce was strange as well. Almost like a fancy chef boyardee

This is hands down the best experience and best money spent out of the 3 years I've been in Texas. The lamb was scrumptious and the lasagna was way better than I expected. The bread with oil was interesting, the service was great, I definitely want to come back and try coffee after our meal. ☺️ The apple torte was good as well tasted fresh but the caramel was way too much for me, but I guess that's on me for not reading the part where it had caramel.

Calamari is usually best in town or anywhere for that matter, seemed much chewier than usual indicating a bit overcooked… just disappointed as I always look forward to it…

What has happened.... What a HUGE disappointment.... The signature shrimp Paesanos is nothing more than a 'glorified' fried shrimp. No flavor!!!! I've known this place for over 30 years.... It has not aged well. From the ' Pizzashaker ' of parma cheese to the bland olive oil dip... completely uninspired and tired. This will be my last visit and we drove from Maryland!!! Our walk down memory lane was shattered... we lived in San Antonio in the mid 70's and this was our favorite.. they have lost their recipes and mojo!

This was the first time I ate at this restaurant as it's in a very nice area in Lincoln Heights. The service was OK. The food was not very good and the silverware smelled like hot trash. There was other customers complaining about it as we were walking out. I ended up leaving most of my meal as my wife did too.

The Shrimp Paesanos and Snapper Cevichi were both very good. Pork Osso Buco on the other hand was not worth eating. The Pork Shank was probably boiled or maybe baked until it was tendert was precooked it was topped with and that was the only thing it had going for it was tenderness. After it was pre-cooked then topped with cut canned tomatoes and sliced carrots, maybe some seasonings but, I really couldn't tell, then warmed. Now I've had Osso Buco in Italy and a number if other restaurants that got it right and it was delicious. This was not that. I can only suggest that you order one of the good entrees and avoid what they call Osso Buco at all costs. I gave it 3 stars because I had 2 very good dishes and one that failed miserably.

We had never been before so we went for our wedding anniversary. The giant calamari was cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the sauce that came with it, it tasted almost like ketchup but otherwise great. The beef tenderloin with bernaise sauce was cooked to perfection and didn't even need a knife. The veal Parmesan was excellent and the tirimisu was fabulous. Our server, Patty was amazing. You can dress up or go casual. We plan to go again.
