Panaderia Jimenez is a true gem in San Antonio! From the moment I stepped inside, the aroma of freshly baked goods filled the air, and it was simply intoxicating. But let's talk about the conchas – oh, the conchas! They were absolutely divine. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly sweet, they melted in my mouth. The texture was spot-on, and the sugary topping was just the right amount of sweetness. It's clear that Panaderia Jimenez puts love and care into every single pastry they create. I recently visited this coffee shop and ordered two sweetbreads, only to be charged $8 for them. When I asked about the price, the staff member went behind the counter, confirmed that the sweetbreads were mislabeled, but still refused to honor the incorrect price. I asked for a refund and decided to head to HEB down the street, where I bought a whole selection of sweetbreads for under $5. I understand businesses have the right to set their own prices, but it’s frustrating when items are mislabeled. It’s important to ensure correct pricing so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing. Disappointing experience overall.”

OMGOSH…eat here. Seriously. Amazeballs creative food and something for everyone. The environment is whimsical, clean, family friendly, fresh, casual and simply warm and welcoming. This place is a must.

I ordered a Rosca de Reyes and they had it for me immediately. I'm from Mexico and I haven't found such a delicious bakery in years. Excellent service. The cashier was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return.

I highly recommend it because the variety of coffee you will find will surprise you, and they are super delicious!!! And the complement to this is the excellent service, its staff makes you feel very good. Don't hesitate to visit it if you are in San Antonio.

Went here for the first time today they have their vegan items clearly labeled such as a few fruit empanadas. They also have multiple milk alternatives for coffee drinks. The prices were really affordable!

Everyone was so friendly! We had some good conversation with the people working there. We ordered an iced Americano, an iced white mocha, and an oreja. The woman working the counter commented that they were very good and omg it was even better than I thought it would be! Light and crunchy but somehow also dense - it was the perfect accompaniment to my Americano. The Americano was smooth but strong, which is not something I usually get at the same time (it's usually one or the other).
I'm so impressed and this visit absolutely made my morning. I can't wait to go back tomorrow!

Fun and friendly place to grab a coffee, some pink cake, and do some work, journaling, or reading. Great neighborhood spot.
