Ordered the pineapple pancakes with hashbrowns and waffle with ham. The pancakes were made right and tasted great. The eggs were made correctly. The waffle was very good and the ham was ok. I love exploring new restaurants and every once in awhile you find a gem. This is a great spot. I actually found this place through Reddit. It's not the prettiest place but, that's part of the overall charm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes simple is where it's at and all you need. Will I be back is not the question, it's when will I be back.
Tasty breakfast options from waffles, to French toast to pancakes to omelets to breakfast plates. I got the cinnamon roll french toast with bacon and eggs and my friend got the monte cristo with eggs and bacon. The service was spot on. This place is a must for breakfast when in San Antonio

This place had some delicious food. It is located in a location that has parking across the street because of the other businesses in this strip. Apart from that it was great food for the price point. I had the banana nut French toast with fruit and an egg and ham. Prefect amount needed to start the day! When I am in town this will be a spot I will attend again.

Parking infront of the restaurant is limited but there is plenty across the street. There isn’t much curb appeal but when you walk in it’s so nice and clean and spacious. Walked in and was attended to promptly no wait time around 9:30 am. Greeted with a warm welcome. Staff was helpful in explaining the menu and giving recommendations it was hard to choose because everything on the menu sounded so delicious. It was between the French toast and the pancakes. I got the cream cheese strawberry pancakes, with a side of bacon and hashbrowns. The pancakes were soft and fluffy real home style pancakes, the cream cheese and strawberry perfectly proportioned so the taste was not overwhelming just right. Presentation was very appetizing. The hashbrowns crispy on top and soft when you bite. Bacon I asked for crispy and it was perfectly crispy, most places burn it when you when you ask for it crispy, this was deliciously crispy. I really enjoyed this breakfast place. Pricing is really good for the amount of food served but for my budget not an everyday kind of thing but definitely at least twice a month of pay day hahaha. It’s a little hidden diamond. Atmosphere soft rock 80s and 90s music playing, casual environment, family friendly. Restrooms were really clean too. Overall definitely coming back.

I went around 12:05 on 10/20/2025. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, maybe about 5 tables. I was told my a manager that it would be about a 5 minute wait to allow staff to “catch up” after about 20 minutes we were seated. The waitress quickly took our order. After about 30 minutes our food still hadn’t come out. I noticed there was only one cook in the back which was the reason for the long wait. I understand being understaffed is a huge problem these days, I myself am in the industry, but my main issue was with the manager who just stood by the expo window watching as the cooks struggled to keep up. In my experience the manager should roll up her sleeves and assist the cook, I was so excited to eat here because I don’t get to go out very often but I had the morning off and just completed my 15k training run at Woodlawn and was excited to replenish my nutrients with a pb banana pancake and a Joe’s favorite. After 45 minutes I just got up and left because again from experience I know the quality of the food wasn’t going to be up to par and wasn’t about to waste money and calories surplus on whatever was about to hit the table. I probably won’t be returning anytime soon, and if I do I hope to see better management.

This place is my new spot! I come every Saturday with the kids, and my usual waitress knows my kids love the chocolate milk! This place is on point!

We only rated for the atmosphere. There’s only 4 small parking spaces. Wasn’t even able to get to the restaurant so we went somewhere else. If you want more business, maybe get more parking. There’s a large private parking lot across the street, but we didn’t want to get towed.

Came on a Sunday afternoon. We were serviced immediately and it took maybe about 10-15 minutes to get our food. I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll pancakes with eggs and sausage. The waitress was great and attentive. Overall we had a good time 👍🏾
