I love this place.
The waitstaff who waits around on their phones next to the bar definitely get caught up texting their friends laughing at videos and generally ignoring their customers.
Not a single occurrence.
Once I waited “timed” 3.5 minutes to be seated at an empty Resturant. The cook had to tell the hostess that I was up in front. She as well on her phone.
I live five minutes away and have been coming her with my kids for the past 15 years.

My only complaint is that I didn’t eat here sooner. Of course we chose to eat here on the last day of our stay, I wish we tried it the first day and we would have just ate here every single day we were in San Antonio. The food is cheap and insanely good. Our server is quick and friendly, the place was clean, and there’s plenty of parking around. I definitely recommend this place.

Went to have breakfast, got there early (8:45 am) no more than 12 people in place. We ordered eggs and pancakes, it took them 23 minutes before we got our food,,, eggs were COLD, pancakes THIN as tortillas/ asked for manager, she could do nothing about our food and told us she was sorry, and that we did not have to pay for the food. We left hugely disappointed. This place has gone thru some 'serious personnel changes'. It's NOT the same, cooks, food servers, etc. I hear the location at Ingram Mall area is also having issues too. Won't go back.
Host staff move slow when wait staff are slammed and running. Host staff stand and chat while tables remain dirty. When they do get to cleaning a table, they leave the seats dirty.
Food and wait staff are excellent. Only complaint is that I wish I could add a short stack to my main order without it costing 6 bucks.

This place is honestly one of those hidden gems. The food is amazing and the staff is super attentive. I ordered the Joe’s Favorite and it did not disappoint. Sure, from the outside it looks a little run-down and might throw you off, but once you're inside, it’s a whole different vibe. My only suggestion: please improve the bathrooms—they looked dirty and pretty neglected. But still, this place deserves 5 stars. Thank you!

Great breakfast. Nothing fancy just good food in a laid back spot. I had the steak and eggs and my gorgeous wife had the Jalisco omelette and we shared the bacon waffle. The food was great
