It used to be very good food and service was better, las time our waitress was rude. After being here a few more times, food is not as good anymore for us. Maybe, the first times are always better. Unfortunately it's quality is not the best.

Usually a great place for a late breakfast...but today the food coming out was terrible...chicken salad with just 2 stripe of chicken..then never got chicken with salad waited on that then charged extra to get more chicken.
May be a minute b4 we make it back..

Inside atmosphere was nice but overpriced breakfast items. The staff are nice. I think the omelets are good but the eggs Benedict was not the best and not something I would order again at this restaurant. Hash browns were also not very good but better than fast food. All pancake items were impressively delicious. Coffee, tea and soda prices on the high end.

Had not been to Pancake Joe's in over 5 years. Still the same great food and the service was perfect. Ranch potatoes are still my favorite item. I could eat them by themselves.
Ordered the pineapple pancakes with hashbrowns and waffle with ham. The pancakes were made right and tasted great. The eggs were made correctly. The waffle was very good and the ham was ok. I love exploring new restaurants and every once in awhile you find a gem. This is a great spot. I actually found this place through Reddit. It's not the prettiest place but, that's part of the overall charm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes simple is where it's at and all you need. Will I be back is not the question, it's when will I be back.

Tasty breakfast options from waffles, to French toast to pancakes to omelets to breakfast plates. I got the cinnamon roll french toast with bacon and eggs and my friend got the monte cristo with eggs and bacon. The service was spot on. This place is a must for breakfast when in San Antonio

This place had some delicious food. It is located in a location that has parking across the street because of the other businesses in this strip. Apart from that it was great food for the price point. I had the banana nut French toast with fruit and an egg and ham. Prefect amount needed to start the day! When I am in town this will be a spot I will attend again.
