So my husband and I came out to breakfast at Pantiflas Cantina off of 1604/Bulverde. I actually enjoyed my meal which was not your usual Tex-Mex breakfast. I had an omelette chilaquile with their red sauce topped with some asparagus and Mexican sour cream along with potatoes and refried beans. My husband, unsure of the menu (he's a picky eater) had 3 pancakes topped with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate - that's it. A bit of a disappointment looking at the menu...

I came with my family for the first time, the food is good, it is authentic Mexican, the host and the waitress are friendly. The only reason I give only 3 stars is because the waitress lacks training, we lasted more than 15 minutes without drinks and she never approached or was in sight to call her, I ordered an appetizer and she never brought the small plates to serve us even though I asked for them! I do not consider returning for the simple fact that for me customer service...

We had the giant concha and Mexican style hot cocoa, my husband had breakfast and everything was excellent, the only downfall was the tortillas, we were expecting homemade but they weren’t, other than that I absolutely recommend this place, we will definitely go back.
