I placed an order for my Board of Directors during our retreat in Houston to give them a local taste. There were numerous errors with the delivery. Please note that I reached out to Pappas both by phone and email withing 30 minutes of the delivery and received no response. Given that a total of 4 orders were incorrect and 1 was missing entirely, a refund of some sort was due. Pappas has responded to and offered nothing of the sorts.
1) The order form provides you a space to place a name for the recipient. Those names are nowhere to be found on the lunches delivered. This is potentially dangerous (even life threatening) when it comes to specific allergies. It was a shame they were so reckless with this process.
2) Of the 19 orders placed, 4 orders were incorrect (delivery said one thing, what was received was entirely different), and 1 order was missing entirely. Not only was this a disappointment to a quarter of our Board of Directors, but this again runs afoul of any consideration at all regarding allergies or dietary preferences (ex. vegetarian/vegan, both of which were options on the menu selection that were not respected in the delivery).
Getting meals wrong is one thing. The quality control of Pappas leaves a lot to be desired. But ignoring customers when the issue is so clearly on the part of the establishment is entirely different and speaks again to the careless and recklessness of not just taking orders and delivering them, but placing any sort of care into the process.
Regardless of how good the food (that was accurately done) did taste (and yes, it tasted good), if an establishment doesn't care about its process and its customers, then none of that matters.
There are plenty of options in Houston and I recommend looking into those before settling on Pappas.

Fajitas are incredible! Our go-to meal. The butter stuff that comes with them is amazing! Excellent tortillas and salsa too! The chips are thin, crispy and warm.
Jessica Sanchez and her whole team are amazing! Jessica was my main point of contact throughout planning and with every question (and there were many), she was friendly and meticulous. She advised on what appetizers go best together, what sides go well with the entrees, and what foods guests with dietary restrictions can and cannot have. She took dietary restrictions very seriously, making special plates for guests who needed it and letting me know exactly which appetizers and sauces they could/couldn't have. The food itself was fantastic as well! Everyone complimented it and had no complaints! 10/10 would recommend Pappas!
Fajitas and their soups. I don’t particularly care for their enchiladas but they are adequate
Go for the fajitas! They are the best ever! And their butter that comes with them is to die for.
The food was very good, and the staff and service's where very friendly. And the Margarita's are delicious

Ok food is good but wait time for it is way too long... and they ran out of tortillas??? How is that possible???
Pappas catered our wedding and did a phenomenal job! All the food was fresh and cooked onsite, the catering staff kept tables clean and clear, and they even cut and served our wedding cake! All of our guests raved the next day about how amazing the food was! We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone!
