Been going here for over 20 years. Wonderful owners & fantastic food. 10/10 every single time.

Great place to eat for lunch at an excellent value. They've been around for about 30 years. They were at a different location before the last 20 years where they've been at this one.

Took a few bites but couldn’t bring myself to finish , we had ordered food for the whole family and everyone didn’t like their plates . It tasted weird and the texture was weird also. It was also very dry. I’m surprised we had this experience since everyone puts good reviews, not worth a penny.

I was craving Chinese yesterday on the way home and was in the 410/Wurzbach area and this was the only spot on the way home and my last chance for Chinese so, I took a chance on it. It’s a little place against the wall and I’ve passed by it many times but wow am I glad I finally stopped there! It’s not too big inside but has big booths, it is dimly lite and has a calm atmosphere and pretty decor. The young lady who helped me was very sweet, quick and very attentive. The Lemon chicken lunch special was amazing! The dish came with 2 green onion cream Rangoons (you can get fried wontons or egg roll I think there are other option) 2 big scoops of fried rice, soup, and a huge crispy chicken breast, (and a huge glass of water with lemon to wash it all down), a filling lunch for me all under $13! (Not including tip) From what I could see if the menu, everything was reasonably priced as well. I order the lemon chx dish at all the Asian restaurants I go to and some are too orange flavored or sugary but this one was perfect! Not too sweet not too sour, just the right hint of lemon. And the hot & sour soup was tasty as well! This is definitely the place to get this favorite chicken dish of mine now; the funny thing is, I gave the lady in-front my compliments and she said, that it’s actually a customer favorite and most ordered thing there! I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu with my family. I left so incredibly full & satisfied.

There aren't as many Chinese restaurants around anymore. I happened to be on this side of town and saw Pengs so I decided to try it. I was overall very pleased with my lunch. The hot and sour soup was excellent. I had chicken in garlic sauce for my entree with fried rice. The chicken was all white meat and very tender. The sauce was a little sweet but I liked it. The portion was very large for lunch so I took about half home. The side egg roll was a little salty. All in all a good experience and I'd recommend it for dine in or take out.

If I could give this place a zero rating I would. My family and I moved to TX from up north and were looking for equally good Chinese food like back home. It is my son’s birthday and he wanted Chinese food, so we took him for lunch. The woman at the front desk was sweet and seated us immediately. The male server came to our table with the nastiest most of ignorant attitude. We asked him what drinks the had? He took the menu, flipped to the page and slammed the menu down. A woman came over to bring our drinks, I tasted my tea and it was not sweet. The server said they don’t sell sweet tea, I immediately apologized and was sincere. She asked ā€œwell what do you want then?ā€ As I was looking at the drink choices she was getting frustrated with me so I rushed and just said anything and apologized again and thanked her and she stormed off and didn’t even acknowledge my apology. I decided to take my family and money elsewhere. Will not be giving an environment like this my business.

Food was good as always but only there for 30 minutes and get rushed out lady comes up to us with half our food on the table and tells us if we want boxes and then we continue our conversation for another 4 minutes and she comes up and just says cash or card 🤣🤣🤣🤣 mind you wasn’t busy at all.

I order chicken with vegetables and beef with broccoli and it’s not the best. Detail
1 food came out mild warm and over heavy salt. Not sure if the cooks were off or what.
2 we were their around the 1pm so it should be like hot as food comes out but not.
The fried rice was horrible and it felt like they just scatter the soy sauce and rice felt hard and soft, seems like it was a mix. To me it’s disgusting
3 the egg roll were just bad as well and ingredient was five spice over done and you can actually taste it and it’s just made my stomach turn.
3 the chicken and beef were ok but like I said the temperature was mild warm and it’s just not good.
Over all I wouldn’t come back due to quality and service was par from good.
At the end better off trying something different.
Sorry no pictures but the dishes were very simple

I ordered lemon chicken, curry chicken, triple delight and chicken and brocolli. The chicken and brocolli and curry chicken were delicious. Lemon chicken was pretty good too. The triple delight was ok. However, the egg roll was way too salty. We weren’t able to eat them.
