Pepe's Tacos N Salsa

This is a good little place for breakfast tacos. I stop here and get them before my Monday meetings and grab breakfast for my team. If you are in the area give tham a shot. The people are super nice and the service is pretty quick. Another perk, they have a drive thru if you prefer.

I usually have a good experience here but not today. I had the norteno taco I asked for beef fajita they messed up my order and gave me chicken fajita. No big deal but it didn't taste right or fresh. The salsa in the salsa bar did not taste or look fresh either.
It just didn't taste quite right. I seen the manager try to get coke from the soda machine but it needed to be replaced. Another employee told him to use the other machine. The other machine was out of coke as well.

They did not include my chips for my chips and queso in my Togo order. When I came back they refused to give me a new cheese to replace my cold one and only gave me chips. I paid full price to come back and get what was owed to me only to end up with cold cheese because I had no chips and they thought that was ok. Nosedive in service.

Food was ok but not what expected. We ordered nachos and instead of cheddar they use some sort of Velveeta type cheese and they were soggy. We also got enchiladas with beef fajita. I guess they use asada to substitute fajitas 🤦🏻‍♀️Overall the appearance of the restaurant was clean.

First time at this establishment and it was okay.Ordered breakfast tacos and food was just okay, my friend ordered a barbacoa taco took 1 bite and left the rest.

It's ok...lack of taco options in the area help this place. If this place were in the west side it wouldn't have customers

The only thing that tasted good was the Charro beans but there was way too much water. Perfectly spicy though. Chicken fajita street tacos was my entree and there was a bad taste. Could not identify what it was but there appeared to be cabbage in my street tacos? Thought that was weird. Also the queso was low quality and the spanish rice was mushy. I'm usually forgiving when it comes to hole in the wall places but there's no way that average rating of 4.5 stars is accurate judging from my experience.

This is THE best taco joint I've found in the city of San Antonio. It will take a while to get your food on the weekend because there is always a line, so be prepared for that. The line is proof that their food is worth it.

Alright, this is probably the best taco shop in North San Antonio, and in the top 5 for the entire city. Fantastic selection, huge portions (2 is all you need) and reasonable prices. Oh, the service is top notch too. They get super busy in the weekends. But, it's easy to call your order in, pay, grab 'em and go! Always hit and fresh!
