My husband and I took a whole group of 25 interns here during our trip to the Alamo, and we thought we would have to sit and wait a while for our food.. but the team not only served our food exceeding fast, BUT it was also the BEST presentation and flavors of Hot Chicken I have ever had. I ordered the Roscoe. Let me start off by saying that size was twice what I expected lol I will be eating this for two days šš the powdered sugar and sauce (on the side) gave me the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. I wanted something that reminded me of chicken and waffles but for dinner...and this was definitely him! The chicken is soooo tender!! Absolutely amazing food, will definitely return.

We had just been last month and this place was nothing short of fabulous!!! This wasnāt our second or third time. So, we went again last week EPIC FAIL! They CHANGED! They are now making their chicken sandwiches with FATTY BONELESS CHICKEN THIGHS! YUCK! Yāall canāt just go on and change your menu because you feel like it and NOT tell your customers. We will NOT RETURN UNTIL YOU MAKE THE CHICKEN SANDWICHES WITH THE CHICKEN TENDERS! That were previously WHITE MEAT!

Ordered pick up from the food truck. It was ready on time and hot and fresh. Feels pricey for a chicken sandwich but worth every penny! Mac was also superb. I got the southtown with the mayo on the side so I could try another sauce, i think I preferred the house special better, but both were great

The food is great. The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is because they're online ordering is always messed up In some way. And by leaving a review I hope they fix it. It didn't work for something like 6 months. And now you can't place any orders before 4:15pm. I live close to this place. And online ordering is super convenient as I can walk over pick it up and immediately walk back home with no wait.
Once online ordering works I'll change to 5 stars.

Perfectly fried, stacked high, and paired with a side of creamy mac and cheese topped with green onions and bacon for a rich, savory finish. And letās not forget the elote-style corn: beautifully charred with the perfect amount of seasoning! Peteās Hot Chicken is a must have! Quick Update: Pete's Hot Chicken still absolutely DELICIOUS!!

We met up Sunday morning for a brunch. They had been a food truck but now have parked at their brick and mortar. If you want to escape the heat travel inside to a dark, cool interior that juxtaposes their chicken heat. We stayed outside with the pups and took advantage of their corn hole game while we waited. Husband ordered chicken fried steak and only shared one bite. He was emphatic heād order it again. I had chicken strips at the 2nd heat level. The coating is light and crunchy. Iād go up a heat level but flavor was awesome. The side of MacnCheese was award winning as their medal shows. Son got chilaquiles and they were gone quickly - yum. Of all we ate this weekend, this is where I want to return to next time.
