The food was decent, but I wouldn’t drive 20 minutes again to get there. Service was great though.

Not as great as I remember. The menudo was overcooked and the potatoes were a bit bland

Some of the best food I've had! The homemade flour tortillas were delicious. Cheap, fast, and friendly service.

Great veteran owned resturant. Food is almost as good as the service. Central to downtown, so perfect to get some breakfast and go enjoy the town.

There was a long gap about 15 years since I had eaten at Pete’s Tako House. My Grandmother loved going there. This was my first visit to the downtown location. I was happy the food was still delicious. Generous portions and the tortillas are so good. I don’t normally dine out for Mexican food because I can cook it at home. San Antonio is my exception to dine out when I visit they have excellent restaurants and Pete’s is one of them. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming. The staff is friendly and quick to help with anything you need. The prices are reasonable for dining in downtown San Antonio. Parking is limited for handicap. The outdoor seating is a nice cozy area. Plenty of seating inside and a bar provides a few extra seats. We enjoyed our lunch. I loved looking at all the decor and remembering previous visits with my Grandmother. New memories with my Mom.

WORST PLACE I EVER ATE. SERVER MAGDA ISNT ATTENTIVE. I ORDERED A MELON WATER SHE FILLS MY GLASSES WITH ICE TO TOP ANY RESTAURANT PUTS A QUARTER ICD BECAUSE THERES NO REFILLS. My FRIEND LIZS PLATE IS COLD. THE MANAGER SAYS THAT THE OWNER ASKS THE SERVERS TO FILL ICE TO THE TOP. THE PART OWNER COMES AND SAYS THATS HIS POLICY ALL RUDE AND SAYS WE ARE CRITIZING HIS FOOD. I TRIED TO BE NICE AND GIVE HIM ADVICE ABOUT FILLING ICE I WORKED MANY PLACES CASA RIO, BLANCO CAFE. THIS RESTAURANT HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE NO TASTE TO FOOD BAD SERVICE I HAD TO CALL MADNA TO TABLE SHE DIDNT RETURN. Don’t spend ur money here
