There was a long gap about 15 years since I had eaten at Pete’s Tako House. My Grandmother loved going there. This was my first visit to the downtown location. I was happy the food was still delicious. Generous portions and the tortillas are so good. I don’t normally dine out for Mexican food because I can cook it at home. San Antonio is my exception to dine out when I visit they have excellent restaurants and Pete’s is one of them. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming....

Pete's Tako House was a new and wonderful experience. From the friendly reception to the prompt and welcoming waitress, the visit was complete with an absolutely delicious breakfast.

Wonderful place for working breakfast or lunch, as we hosted filmmakers from New York, Austin, and Los Angeles for CineFestival.

Visited this restaurant during our trip to Texas for its puffy taco. Both the puffy taco and the breakfast taco was quite big and loaded this ingredients and were good. But the nachos we ordered lack of crisp and tasted not very fresh. Also overall seemed shy of the strong flavors from Mexican foods. Service was nice and friendly.
