I heard this place would be a good pho restaurant after reading the reviews, but unfortunately it left my taste buds searching for the taste. Food was bland. Cost wise, it was decent. I thought the lumpia's were over priced for what you get. Not your typical lumpia you would get at a Filipino restaurant because of its size. This was way smaller and overpriced. I don't recommend this one if you're looking for Pho.
Small but comfy restaurant with quick service and reasonable prices. Thai tea was good, not overly creamy and had a slight bitter taste. Pho came with fresh basil, cilantro, lime, and bean sprouts on the side; chili oil, Hoisin, s&p, and siracha already at the table. The broth was good, aromatic, but came across slightly sweet for me but perfect once I added a little Hoisin sauce and chili oil. Steak was thin sliced and was not overcooked or chewy. I worked at a pho restaurant for almost 10 years in another state, and have been looking for good pho in San Antonio. The pho here is delicious! Very flavorful and you can really taste the herbs and spices. Too bad I live on the other side of town, otherwise this would be my new regular spot! Oh and a big plus that they give you limes on the side and not lemons like a lot of other places I've been to here in San Antonio.
