I recommend to get the stir beef pho
I want to support this small business but beware: they don't accept Tap for pay and don't accept major credit cards. I had to use Cash app to pay, as if I were at a card collector convention or something. What restaurant does that? Also, the food was scolding hot. Like so hot it never cooled down. Tast was mid... At best. Sorry but if you want to eat Pho, go somewhere else OR go in with correct expectations. Which are not posted anywhere on the door. In fact, they have warnings on the door about not bringing outside food in... I wonder why ?

Just happen to randomly stop by this place and WOW!! Their pho is amazing, very fresh and flavorful. I will be back. My fiancé got their crispy chicken and rise and he loved it. Don’t let the looks of this place fool you, really good quality and delicious!

I had lunch at Pho Place restaurant and ordered soup and fried chicken as an appetizer. When the chicken arrived, it was soaked in fish sauce. I immediately told the waitress that I was allergic to fish sauce and didn't expect the fried chicken to be wet. She said that that's the way it's served and walked away. When I was ready to pay for the soup, she stated that I needed to pay also for the chicken, to which I informed her again that I wasn't paying for something that I could not and should not consume. (She would not take my money to just pay for the soup.) I asked to speak with the manager, and she said the manager was not there.
Then she warned me that if I didn't pay for the chicken, she was going to call the police! I told her to go ahead and call because if I consumed the chicken they would have to call an ambulance instead. The worker (manager) also stated that he pays $6,000 a month for rent and he couldn't afford to waste money because I refused to pay for the $14.99 appetizer! Please note that I did not sample or touch the chicken in any way. When I observed how wet the chicken was the waiter informed me it was soaked in fish sauce. I later learned from the manager that this was drowned in fish sauce because the chicken was too dry!
So, I waited over an hour for the police to arrive. Meanwhile, I noticed that the worker (whom I assumed was the manager) took my picture on his camera phone. So, I took his and the waitress's picture, and he had a fit and started shouting at me (with 2 customers observing) not to put his picture on social media (which I had no intentions of doing). Even though he was pointing the camera at me, he said that he was only playing a game on his phone.
Two policemen arrived, and I gave them my version of the issue. They were very professional, but after talking with their peers at headquarters for about 15 mins, they told me that I should pay the total bill because it was the restaurant's policy or be arrested for not paying the full bill.
As a compromise, I asked if I could get another meal of the same value instead. To my surprise, the manager agreed and prepared a different item for me of the same price as the fried chicken. The police stayed until the meal was prepared and witnessed me paying the bill before they departed. The whole ordeal was very humiliating and embarrassing. By the way, I don't know how I was described to the police because when they arrived they looked very surprised.
When I arrived home and viewed the combination fried rice that they had prepared I was disappointed to see that it was very unappealing; the rice was clunked up, and the chicken and beef were hard as a rock. It actually looked like maybe they had given me leftovers from someone else's plate. I immediately threw it in the trash!
I am a 70+ grey-haired senior citizen and at no time was I belligerent or disruptive. My mannerism was cool, calm, and respective considering how I was treated. I would not recommended this restaurant to anyone!

Egh I use to come here often as I do like the food but after reading the reviews I am turned off. The way you reply to negative reviews as a business speaks a lot about your character as a business owner. I don’t want to eat from owners with bad attitudes.
Combo fried rice was excellent! Lots of meat, chicken and shrimp loved it. Staff is always friendly and respectful. Highly recommend to eat there!
This place used to be great. I’ve been coming for years. Today the combination fried rice was so bad I had to throw it away. Who thinks putting a pound of black pepper on fried rice is a good idea? It was a completely different recipe than in the past. Just horrible. It had only 2 shrimp, like 3 pieces of beef and the rest was just some dried out pepper chicken. Horrible is an understatement.
This is my go-to spot in San Antonio — truly a hidden gem. They have the best pho in the city! I always order the P1 — oxtail, rib, and steak pho served in a hot rock bowl — and it never disappoints. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the meat is always tender and perfectly cooked. Every time I visit, the service is top-notch; the staff are friendly, attentive, and make me feel right at home. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious pho with great hospitality, this is the place to go.
Best pho and service 😊
Delicious food..

This is the best Pho I’ve had in San Antonio. The customer service is amazing and the portions are great.
We tried this place for dinner on a Sunday afternoon, surprised to only see one table eating at that moment. We ordered the Viet spring rolls, vermicelli bowl with chicken and egg roll, pho GA and combo pho. The food came out so hot and fast! 10/10 on flavor, presentation, servings and service. The pho broth was so flavorful! My grilled chicken vermicelli bowl hit the spot, the best I've ever had! And I eat a lot of Vietnamese food!
Thank you to our server for being so sweet and attentive. We will be back for more.
We wanted to have dinner within the Stone Oak area and decided to try Pho Place.
Dad had Fresh Lemonade, Hubby had Lemon Tea and I had Unsweet Tea. We started with the Vietnamese Rolls. Dad and I shared the Pho with Tendon. The tendon was good for me but could have been softer for Dad. Hubby had the Hot Rock Bowl Soup. Mostly good. This place has a different variety of food. Another good option in the area.
Wife and I had the Thai curry (heat level 3 of 5) and the lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious ! We've eaten at good Vietnamese and Thai places in Houston. This place is comparable or even better.
Can't wait to come back and try the pho.
Add: Finally tried the pho. Wow. Delicious!!
Adding again on 12/19:
Some of the best pho, and I'm telling ya, we've had it in to pho places in San Diego and Houston. Thank you... Again!!!
We had the bun bo hue and it was great! Extra spicy with the shrimp paste and the pig knuckle.
