A San Antonio’s neighborhood fave and to go restaurant for delicious Mexican food. It’s authentic and won’t break the bank. Everyone is so welcoming from the owner/manager and service. Definitely recommend you give it a try.

We did breakfast here. The breakfast tacos were a good size and huevos rancheros were great! Service was prompt.

I remember when it was in the two story building behind this one. It's not the same as it was but it wasn't terrible but any means.

The food was ok.. not the greatest. How ever, it was 4 of us and hidden in the bill was already added a 10% tip and nothing was mentioned until after I paid with a card. I explained why did the waitress do that when she saw we left her a $10 tip on the table. She would've made a $20 tip if i didn't notice. She knew she did wrong cus she insisted for me to take the $10 back off the table. I sure did! She took long at times to check in on us... and we still left a generous tip. Watch out folks.. they are tipping themselves without confirming with the customers first.

Walking or smells like food and cleanliness. Have seat and receive service right away. The pictures on here do not do this foods justice. If you could see the flavor in a picture you would already be here. Don’t hesitate like me. I could eat here everyday

Piedras Negras is very good. I ordered a tamale plate and have to say, they are some of the best I've had. Very full of meat and not too much masa. Carla, our waitress was very attentive and has a beautiful smile. The plate orders are large and we all left with our supper in hand. We will definitely return. Great value for the amount of food you get and the tortillas are handmade.

Their tortillas are the best. Add butter and they are even better!

I went with a group and wish they would bring individual salsa. Not enough chips.
