I’m sorry to post this review but the Barbacoa and tamales that I purchased at Pilas were extremely horrible. The barbacoa was reheated and the tamales were nasty. This is the first and last time I will ever buy from this place. The service is not friendly at all.

Hands down the best barbacoa I’ve ever had! The menudo is absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Their corn tortillas are fresh, soft, and easily my favorite anywhere. The service is amazing — everyone is so friendly and welcoming that you truly feel like family here. Highly recommend!

My friends sister owns the restraunt and i have got to see first hand how all the food is prepared. Its amazing and is made fresh every morning they are opened . The food is so good and i absolutely love that they are family oriented. Best experiences ever are the ones ive had here. Not expensive very well priced and the service is great.

Today I decided to try out a different barbacoa place today. So I decided on Pila’s. It had good reviews. Well it wasn’t good. The barbacoa was cold. The tamales we a little bigger that my fingers. The menudo was decent. The best part of it was was the avocado. I paid $54, never again!

Went to get barbacoa and tortillas. Barbacoa was mixed of cheek meat and some other meat. It was very flavorless and dry. Wanted to try the tamales and they were so small with no filling and Alot of cummin. I couldn't taste the masa or the meat just cummin. Very disappointed.
