Pizza was great, place was pretty, and the staff was nice, if you’re in the area I highly recommend. They have a cute bar downstairs check that out after! ?

I’m ashamed i haven’t written this sooner!! Kind, crazy and soooooooooo delicious!!!! The people here are as saucy, as spicy and as tasty as the food is incredible.Thank you Charles and staff for making me and everyone I’m with feel like our own little “puppets of Playland”

They take reservations! Hallelujah. Food was top notch; one of the best Caprese salads we have had in a while. Pizza is Neapolitan style and so delicious. Short wine list but the bottle we chose was decent. The service was very friendly and not rushed. We spent nearly two hours here for dinner. I definitely recommend for couples and even for families with older children. Refreshingly AWAY from the swarms of people on the river walk.

The food was excellent and the staff was awesome! My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night after trying to find a place to dine during the cold weather (everywhere we had in mind was closed—weird for us being from Colorado, lol). We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but it was totally worth it. Everyone from the restaurant that we talked to was so friendly. We shared a big ranch salad and the poppers. Both were full of flavor. We also each ordered a pizza. The toppings were fresh and the pizza was perfectly cooked. The ratio of sauce and cheese was perfect too. The mushrooms were to die for in my opinion. The ranch did cost $1 but was yummy. Also, the bathroom was clean as well. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and will return.

So this is our first night in San Antonio. We wanted to go someplace casual for dinner so the concierge suggested Playland Pizzaria. OMG the bartender is great! The pizza is great!

Pizza came out oversauced and super soggy. Not even edible. They did remake the pizza and it came out good, however, that does not excuse how poorly made the first pie was. Also, the servers were not very attentive at all. They were pretty much just hanging out and chillin as opposed to doing their job. Not a good experience overall. Not likely to go back.

Great pizza. Not a lot of options downtown but this was great. I only wish they had side salads, but we split a salad, it was huge. The pizza was cooked perfectly and their beer selection was decent. Added bonus, it is all you can eat pizza on Wednesday, I didn't go on a Wednesday and not sure I need more than a small pizza but for the hungry folk you probably will like that.

The pizza is one notch below chuck e cheese pizzaReally not the bestBut it's open past 7pm, which not a lot of places are on a Wednesday night, and have have beer, and their decor is pretty/pretty presentationBut the taste is not there.

Nice vibe. There is also a downstair (additional tables and also restroom). Outside dining as well. Its like a club/bar feelings because of the music that's being played, but not too loud that you can't enjoy. Overall it is a fancy restaurant for adults. I don't usually go clubbing, but this is enjoying for me.

Hailey was such a great bartender. She was super attentive and took care of me and my friends. She even noticed one of our friends wasn’t drinking and offered her a mocktail instead. Will definitely be coming back to see her bartend again!

Everything was delicious. Seriously. We tried almost every app. The 3x3 pizza is my favorite. Can't wait to go back!
