Very unpleasant experience…new to the area and never been..wasn’t aware they closed at 8 but I arrived 10 mins to closing. Both employees just stared at me as I walked in and as I got closer I could see everything was put away so I asked if they were already closed and one employee just shook her head yes. SPEAK! What’s so hard about greeting and saying so sorry we’re already closed!? Instead one just continues to pack everything up and the other stares at me until I walk up to the counter. Next time lock the door if you’re going to close early!

When I walked inside, it was very clean. The staff member serving me was so friendly, helpful and generous. I was surprised with all the options. The food was fresh and the serving area was very clean. I love a clean serving area! I love how I was offered options because when I go to places like this, the staff waits on me to tell them what I want but I really appreciated being offered options here because it was my first time! I love the variety of sauces and toppings too, the drink options and snacks are an added bonus! I will be coming here all the time when I’m on this side of town. I wish there was one out in Cibolo!

I used to go here all the time but they just raised their prices that were already too high. It was 16 dollars for a large bowl, now it’s 19. Plus, now many of their toppings cost 1.50 extra on top of their costly base prices. Love this place but won’t be going back:-/ Their poke bowls are good but not over 20 dollars per bowl good.

Over the past year this restaurant has gone from 5 stars to 3. Here's why: their prices have increased, while the value provided has decreased. Their mobile up is now completely useless, so don't use it, their rewards program only works on the app and can not be added to in store and many of the main topping are missing on the app. So we no longer get points anymore, and we can not order ahead.
Their employees used to be friendly and make eye contact. No longer the case. 1 girl made all 3 bowls while the other 2 girls watched her and tried to not have talk to me...... It took a while for 3 bowls considering I went in in person and was the only person there. They close too early. There has been a least a dozen times I have had to go down the street to get a Poke bowl from another restaurant because they close at 8pm. It's very strange they close when most restaurants are in the middle of dinner. Most of us don't even get home until 6-6:30. I have spent an embarrassing amount ofoney eating here since they opened. We use to go once a week, but not anymore
All in all there are many restaurants right down the street that offer more food at a lower cost, working mobile ordering, open until 10pm, and the employees are friendly and not afraid to talk to you (I know it is a training issue but still.)
Bonuses: The inside decor is lovely and it is the only place with octopus that I like, which is why we stop in occasionally now.
I honestly can't recommend this place anymore but if it is better the next time I wander in I will change my review. I only go if I need to go to the vape shop next door now 😆

I love this place. Poki nachos??? Well they're great! I never would have thought. The dragon bowl is superb. My kids love the onigiri and musubi. I love that they have dishes at every price point. This place is great. The only thing that made me sad is they took corn off the menu. It's like a Subway style where you can choose what you want in your bowls and can watch the nice employees put it together. It's a good time. I always take it home but there is plenty of room to eat there.

I visited Poki Bowl for the first time in a few months today. It has been one of my favorite places to grab lunch for a couple of years now, but my experience today was very disappointing. The rice was served so hot that it partially cooked the tuna in the bowl, and the ratio of protein to rice was very small. Hopefully this was an exception and will not reflect a consistent change in quality. Despite this, the service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant was clean as always.

Was there for the first time on a Friday night at 6:30 ! 2 people working, both with awful attitudes and very unfriendly! The beverage fridge was empty, except for a few cans and 1 bottle of water! We requested salad instead of rice and I had to pick out brown wilted soggy greens out of the bowl! We will not be returning!!

Really overpriced for what it is and it wasn’t that great. There isn’t a ton of options for mix-ins and many are an additional price for the already high prices. I would be willing to pay the price for high quality ingredients but these were not.

Been coming here for a few months and although the poke is great, the service is far from terrible. One of the the servers was aggressive with a poor attitude. Then tried to serve us on a dirty tray. Won't Be coming back anymore.
