The store was short-handed due to an employee calling in sick, but the manager on duty was doing her best to handle both the drive-through and the lobby. She was really hustling! I have managed a store in the past, and I know it is NOT easy to keep up with customer orders when understaffed. I appreciated her pleasant and positive attitude as she worked to get the orders out in a timely manner.

The fried chicken recipe and flavor seem to be pretty much the same across all Popeyes locations in the San Antonio area.

When I arrived they were out of fried chicken wings, but the staff followed the procedure of asking my opinion to change to another part without extra charge, and also apologized to me very sincerely. The manager was so friendly and kind-- he set the atmosphere! He helped his coworker correct my order (my mistake while ordering), and they got my food out in a prompt manner. I'm very grateful for the service with a smile and the good food!
