We had a lovely meal of Tex Mex staples and stiff margaritas. The resort was a pretty back drop to celebrate a retirement. We could hear each other easily and converse. Our server and trainee were excellent which always makes for a great time dining out.
Booked a reservation because it was Thanksgiving evening but the crowd was lite and we walked right in. Food was good a price was not outrageous. And attire was casual. I would go here again
The bar is raised pretty high to be a restaurant located within the precious walls of La Cantera. As a stand-alone cantina, Primero would be popular; but within this high-end resort, the challenge to deliver superior food, service, and ambience is quite a bit higher than the norm.
