Delicious birria tacos and the birria ramen surprises you with how good it is, they have this new birria pizza dish and it is even more delicious than normal birria tacos.

All the ingredients are there but there's no flavor... you'd figure for the price vs quantity it would be better but it's not. Someone please teach them about seasonings... this is San Antonio TEXAS not

Finally made it to Curry Boys BBQ today for the first time, and it exceeded all our expectations. The Tony Porker bowl was our favorite, and the side of pickles and chili oil are a must. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. We will definitely be back 😋

The owner of this establishment (Mario) started with a modest taco truck and provided decent value for the dollar in previous years as being an above average Taco Truck Contender on the strip. The truck (MB El Sazon Norteno) is still operational next door on the left side, but it seems since he opened this new location and the pizza place next door, he has only continuously raised prices till the point that the regular neighborhood customers like me, are being priced out. The prices go up as you would expect with inflation, but the double punch is that the portions have shrunk significantly. It appears he is only here now to scalp the young, drunken crowd that seeks a quick bite to sober up before driving home. If you want a better value for the dollar, with superior customer service, then go to Taco El Regio down a minute from this location, heading to 281.

Pretty water down white bred tacos. Very basic and ordinary. Probably my least favorite birria in the area.

The pizza place that use to be here was better than this new spot. There are plenty of places on the strip to get authentic tacos. The birria ramen is interesting for ramen but not quite there for birria.Tacos are big and they have lots of options including shrimp tacos, however the flavors are lacking.
Tapatio ramen birria is ??. Absolutely perfect. Service was quick, and the neighborhood is cool with a lot of bars and food nearby. Tacos al pastor were also the best I've had in San Antonio.

i took my birria tacos to go, and walked home and waited until i got home to eat them. they were mushy but that was MY FAULT, not Puro Taco's fault. eat these babies right away. i thought the meat and consume was pretty flavorful, although i wish the consume had been thicker. overall, i think these guys are a good spot on the strip, and i'm glad they are here.
