The R & J Saloon offers a welcoming indoor-outdoor atmosphere catering to an adult crowd. The layout is great, and the staff is described as awesome. The venue sometimes features live music, including a favorite local band. It's a lot of fun, very friendly, with good and fairly-priced drinks. The place has line dancing, and everyone who enters will be dancing. The music is always great, and if you're hungry, you can get a plate from the two food trucks outside. The security is nice and polite, making you feel alright even at night. It's the best country bar south of downtown, and they sometimes have a clown to turn your frown upside down. Friday nights feature live country music that never disappoints, and they usually have special shots and more. If you don't drink, they even have Big Red, so you won't be thirsty when you go to bed.
