Update: a year later and I still don't understanding why the hype. Everything is average.

What happened to the fingers?
They are the size of my pinky finger. The food portions are very weak, smaller and more expensive not worth it

I went again with my family, this time I tried the sandwich and it was great, it's already on my list of places to eat.

Made a small mistake on my side order. Didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before noticing and asked if they’d be willing to assist. They said no. I understand it was my mistake but even still it’s poor customer service. You’ve lost a customer for life over what would’ve amounted to $2.

I have been a fan of Cane’s for yearsssss. I’ve tried many canes from different parts of san antonio to different parts of the united states. every experience i have had has never failed me, but ever since i moved to the stone oak area, this is the WORST canes i’ve ever had. every. single. time. i go i always regret it but i do crave canes so it is hard not to go. Fries are good. Bread is good. The chicken? IT IS ALWAYS CHEWY. they never fully cook it all the way and it ruins the meal all the time. i don’t know if it’s because this location is ran by teenage kids but whoever is cooking in the back does not know how to fry chicken strips. canes is always quick so i would assume there’s a routine and certain amount of time that they drop the chicken in the fryer so i can NOT understand why every time it is always under cooked. There has been a few times where it is over cooked and burnt but that is rare. Since it is so bad that i have literally had to write a review i will honestly never go back at this point. I would rather go to the west side or south side of san antonio to enjoy canes. BTW i took one bite and gave the rest to my dog.

All Canes are disorganized. You have to wait in the cashier line to pick up a DoorDash online order. You can't just go up to an area that has your order ready. You have to serve yourself for a customer's online ordered drinks because all management refuses to expedite online orders. Lazy and arrogant restaurant. This is the only restaurant in the city that requires you to use a doordash red card for the customers. I usually refuse to go there.

Food is really good and service is excellent. The guy on fries puts way too much salt. The past 10 times I been the fries have been inedibly salty. Touching the fries will leave your fingers coated with salt. No other Canes locations are this heavily salted, it used to not be like this. This is the first time I’ve ever had this complaint in all my years eating French fries in any establishments. Everything else here is for real perfect as it has always been except for there being like 4x more salt on the fries than there normally is. If you look closely every single tiny white spec is salt. There’s clumps of salt in the ridges of the fries. That doesn’t even show the pile of salt from what I wiped off the fries

Was disappointed that after all the Raising Canes we’ve ate at we always received an extra canes sauce at no charge.

At this location in Stone Oak this Mexican manager must be new and was making us pay for an extra sauce after spending over $55.

Obviously he doesn’t care about customer service and maybe I should avoid this location in the future.
