Ramona's is a Westside restaurant that's run down, needs a lot of attention, could use a major remodel, table & chairs need to be updated, the co-ed bathroom is majorly awful, food is ok but not great

Had a late lunch early dinner here on a Sunday. Ordered the beef enchiladas plate. It was ok. I feel like since we went so late in the day, it wasn't really fresh. My husband ordered the Chile relleno and he said he didn't really like it either. We were the only ones there for a bit and the waitress forgot to refill our drinks for a while. I usually order breakfast tacos or the menudo which are pretty good. When it was time to check out, the lady at the register had overcharged us and she had to ring it up again and this time it was less. My husband said last time he was there was with my sil, that he thought they overcharged him as well but didn't catch it til after the fact so this time he paid attention. Y'all pay attention when you're gonna pay, not sure if this is just a coincidence.
First time here, ordered a potato and egg taco on a flour tortilla to go. The customer service was awesome. Friendly people the place is a typical neighborhood restaurant. The flour tortilla was good the potato and egg not so much. It was bland and it seemed it was pre cooked so the eggs did not taste good. Overall, I have no doubt that the local community will continue to support Ramonas restaurant. Best of luck! 🙏🏽🥰
Unfortunately 😡 I didn't give it any stars 🙁 and why! I invited my daughter to have breakfast there since as children they liked to go there, we were 5 people and the very rude waitresses couldn't help to accommodate one more table in a very rude way. They gave me you can move it if you want but we can't 😡and it It was better to get out of there, and for us, my two sons and my daughter really like the food there for the cooks 5 ✨ unfortunately the waitresses 0,
Food and service were excellent. Real deal local Mexican Cafe. We kind of stood out as outsiders in the neighborhood. But everyone was very polite. Bakery attached is amazing too.
Very upset. They charge 3.29 for a Carne Guisada taco. Twice I have ordered this taco to go and the same 5 pieces of small carne with nothing but gravy. I don't mind paying it's what I'm not receiving. I will not return here.
