We visited the Rathskeller Bar during the Ghoulish Book Festival. They have an awesome selection of alcoholic drinks, including some limited edition Texas brews you can't find in stores. They also have non-alcoholic beverages like sodas and topo chico.
They have some small wooden table games that are fun to play while hanging out, as well as a pool table and darts. The music and atmosphere is fun but chill, so it makes for a nice place to hang out and have a couple of drinks.

Very cool bar I never knew existed. Love the old school feel. Beer and wine only. A bunch of different shiners.

A time capsule, I feel like I'm in a movie there. Jennifer is awesome behind the bar too. Everyone should really check this place out.

Maybe I’m just a hipster cowboy but this is the best bar in San Antonio. This place needs to blow up. Super authentic and sweet vibe. Going back for line dancing this Sunday in the ballroom. Jennifer gave us a little tour of the bowling alley and if this could get up and running again it would be insane. I hope it never changes. This place is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs. Chris behind the bar was super chill. So glad this place exists, just wish it was open more days. A great little charming dive which was exactly what my friends and i were looking for.
