Refuge Coffee + Beer Garden

Visiting family while in town and stopped by because the place looked interesting. Boy was it interesting!!! They have a good variety of coffee and beers available! Delicious coffee and pastries intoxicate the whole place it smells incredible! Cozy and good size inside with board games and a big patio/yard area with a long of picnic tables, and even a playground for the kids. They do also have a food truck if you want something savory. Can't wait to visit family again so I can come visit this spot!

If you love matcha and DT is working, you’re in for a big treat! He made me a lavender caramel matcha that is AMAZING! The shop is so cute and quaint, and the taco truck outside will not disappoint. A new favorite spot for sure!

This place is awesome! For a cup of coffee, a healthy snack, a study spot, client meeting place, an adult beverage while the kids play outside, just a great all-around place to stop and relax. Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended!

This hidden gem was such a treat. The drinks and pastries were delicious. The service is wonderful. The people here are so friendly and have such great personalities. It's a cute and inviting spot, with board games, nice music and good company.

DT made me hands down the best matcha of my life (and I really, really love matcha)

I can’t have coffee so I ordered a lavender latte thinking it only had lavender and milk, and DT went above and beyond to make sure I had something that met all my dietary restrictions AND tasted amazing!!!

The lot is big enough to have kids playing and also let couples sit a little further away but still enjoy the sunshine. Very chill vibes and perfect for indoor or this beautiful outdoor weather Texas is having. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great environment for families! The play area for the kids is so much fun, there are so many events that incorporate community and family time outside of the house that I cannot recommend this place enough! We can come here and let our four year old play while we relax with our favorite drink (coffee, beer, or cider) or even work on our laptop while our kiddo plays with other kiddos from the area! Highly recommend and truly a hidden gem in San Antonio!
