This place is an outstanding Ethiopian place, one of my favorite cuisines, that I eat at many other major cities & food towns like NYC, SF, PDX and TUC. It stacks up to any of those. I hope they reopen. ????????

Hands down the best Ethiopian food in town! Will be remembered and surely missed :( To all of those leaving one star reviews after not even eating there: that sucks but stop! No point in taking it out on the people who just lost their business and jobs. The hours will be fixed soon, have patience and understanding. They were such kind and welcoming people. I will be talking/thinking about their food for a long time to come!

Everything was delicious. Came for a quick light bite before my daily run and ran into this spot with its great reviews. Definitely gonna come back with my family. I ordered the cabbage, vegetable soup and baklava for dessert. The cabbage ? Everything was mouthwatering!

This is a SMALL owned business. I really with snobby people would keep that in mind before going on their petty rants of how these business are not as fast as they want them to be. Good quality food TAKES TIME. Want something days go to McDonalds you uncultured a**. Sheeeshhh, then commenting at the fact that staff doesn't speak English well??? How about, applauding them for trying and having an honest job and sharing their culture with you! SMH. With that being said... I went with a friend and we ordered both the vegetarian platter for two and the meat platter for two. We were asked if we wanted it separate or together and I replied together. The food didn't take that long but everything was so tasty. The injera was great and the owner made sure ti bring more out when we were running low. It's really cute, on the table they have instructions on how to eat Ethiopian food. This was not my first time trying it. It's actually one of my favorite foods so I try to get it often. But, that instruction set would have come in handy the FIRST time I tried it! Ha ha The only thing I would add to the instructions is try to mix the foods together for some awesome explosions of flavors! I felt bad because we actually stayed way past their closing time yet the owner never complained, rushed or gave us an attitude. In fact she asked if we still wanted dessert and the dinner was so good I definitely wanted to see what dessert would taste like. I'm glad I stayed and got the Lemon cake! It was a little frozen like a small ice cream layer. It was so good. A nice little treat to split with two. All in all. Add this to your place to visit! You will not be disappointed! I can't wait to go back and try their buffet line up :)

We tried this for the first time. It was amazing. We tried the beef and lamb. Our favorite was the cabbage. The communal meal was a fun experience. Even our picky tween enjoyed the food. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

Lovely peaceful ambiance. Kind staff. And the food is fantastic. Well spiced, flavorful, each dish different from the other. Some were spicy, but it never became overwhelming and you still got great flavor. The bread served with it all is like a squishy sourdough flatbread. It's delicious with all of it. Will be back again.

Absolutely incredible Ethiopian restaurant! This is our go to in San AntonioEthiopian food is something that everyone should experience. It’s a communal style eating, where you share multiple little plates with the ones you are eating with. The injera bread is what you use to pick up the different dishes. The injera is airy and light, and it tastes really good by itself. You can taste hints of citrus in the bread. The different dishes are served on top of a larger injera that soaks in the juices of the dishes. The dishes themselves are absolutely incredible. There are multiple vegan options, which their menu highlights and separates. We haven’t tried every dish, but everything we tried was amazing! It’s a comfort food that is very healthy. The sambusa appetizers are also to die for. Both vegan and meat options.Overall, an amazing experience all around. It’s a comfort food, served by wonderful people in an amazing shared eating experience. I recommend everyone tries Ethiopian at least once, and this is the place to do it in San Antonio. For more reviews and foodie pics, follow @My_FoodieVerse on instagram

I have seen it before and honestly I didn't think it was still open. But thankfully they are and it was worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience. The service was great and there is video instruction on how to properly eat an Ethiopian meal! I tried not to get to many X's. This is fun the food is really flavorful and I will definitely add this to my mix of restaurants to eat at. I encourage you to give it a try this small restaurant with big food flavor!

We had heard so many good things about this place. We went with their suggestion and tried the vegan meal for first timers and it was delicious. Will definitely come back! Thank you so much for the amazing meal!
