Nice little local coffee shop. They were using ethiopian beens the day we went. The coffee was amazing. I liked that i was able to pickup on some different notes from my usual coffee. Wished they served in regular coffee cups rather than paper cups for dine in.

Not the best acai bowl.
Not sure what was missing, but I've had much better.

I visited Revolucion Coffee in downtown San Antonio on an early morning, hoping for a good start to the day, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The coffee and food were both below average—neither had much flavor, and the quality just didn’t match up to what I’d expect from a local coffee spot.

The service was disappointing as well. It felt like the staff didn’t really care that I was there; there was no greeting, no enthusiasm, and minimal interaction. It made the experience feel impersonal and a bit awkward.

The atmosphere was also lacking. I was expecting a cozy, welcoming vibe, especially in the heart of downtown San Antonio, but instead, the place felt empty and dull, with no energy or ambiance to liven it up. There was hardly any music or decor to give it character, which made the space feel lifeless.

Overall, Revolucion Coffee didn’t live up to my expectations. The combination of lackluster food, indifferent service, and a dead atmosphere made it a one-time visit for me. There are likely better spots in the area if you’re looking for a memorable coffee experience in San Antonio.

Great coffee. Vegetarian tacos are hit or miss…. But their hot sauces are excellent and a great add to the otherwise slightly dry tacos.

Slow service.

It’s about 5 minutes in between each order. So, if there is a crowd here, you might end up waiting about 30-ish minutes for just a taco.

Coffee is fairly price. But the food service is very slow.

Such a great little find! I got a breakfast taco/coffee combo. Under $5! I’m picky with coffee and this drip coffee tastes like a pour over, honestly the best drip coffee I’ve ever had. Full of flavor, unlike other drip coffee that tastes pretty bad and cheap. The breakfast taco…so good! Hearty prieces of bacon and great flavor. Authentic tortilla. This place is a gem. They’re super nice.

Best Açaí bowl I’ve had in a long time! PB&J Bowl was so good. They blended the PB in, not just plopped on top. Perfect consistency, not pre-made and icy. Granola tasted great and Fruit was perfect amount. I know people like alternative milks (which they do offer) but I like regular milk and it was awesome. Was traveling and looking for a healthy, light, but filling breakfast option. This fit the bill! We also had lattes and those were good as well. Basic seating but that’s fine, it’s about the food.

Wonderful breakfast tacos - with what appeared to be homemade tortillas. They used corn for me (gluten free). The sauces were also fantastic! I had a cappuccino that was killer and enjoyed the atmosphere - nice and quiet for an easy morning. The only critique I have is to have some knives available. It’s hard to eat avocado toast and stay clean with only a fork. Highly recommend this place! I highly recommend this place!
