Rising Roll

This use to arguably be the best place to eat on campus. Today, however, I ordered a sandwich and it was really haphazardly thrown together (and with miserable portions; for instance, the lettuce was just one narrow romaine leaf) and it didn’t have the avocado I paid extra for. I politely let the girl who made it know, and she was nice and apologized and made another one. It was also really terribly made, but at least she got the ingredients right this time.

Sandwich is a rip off. $9 bucks gets you bread a couple thin slices of meat. Crazy.

Got breakfast before class today - egg cheese bacon croissant and a coffee. although at first i was like "$7 for a sandwich...?" it was worth it I think; it was a good size croissant, reasonably filled (although it was smashed almost completely flat but I have a broken sense of humor and thought it was funny ?). Coffee (about $6 with extras, I think the base pay for the cold espresso drink was about $5-something) was so good, asked for extra caramel drizzle and they sure came through with it - were not sparse with it. Workers were nice too. I haven't eaten here before today but I might try to have lunch, see how it goes.
