Ro-Ho Pork & Bread - Tortas Ahogadas

The food tasted authentically mexican, generous portions, easy on the wallet, & even the sauces were great too! I loved the option to eat outside in their covered patio which was nice and cool with the fans blowing. I visited this place based on the rave reviews online and wanted to add mine also! :)

1st time coming here and we were definitely impressed. It was empty when we pulled up so we thought the good might not be so great... since we were pressed for time and this was really close from our hotel, we took a chance. The strawberry horchata was different. Tacos were ok. The salsa was really good. The torta ahogada was pretty good. I was pretty satisfied with that item. I'm sure the atmosphere is way better in the evening.

I am from the Rio Grande Valley where authintic Mex Food is everywhere. Triple DDD Guy was rite...authentic Mexican hole in the wall. All latino cooks...real authentic. Delicious tortas!!! 1/2 will settle your appetite....had two different meat tortas....Both were delicious. I am sure evrything else would have been satisfying. The music was spot on!!
Worth the drive. Not fake Mexicanlike riverwalk restaurants. Had to take some to my boys at home.

I have heard a lot about this place over time so I was excited to finally check it out. The staff greeted us as soon as we came in. You order at the counter and then they bring your order to you. They have outside seating as well. The menu is straight forward. You pick your torta or taco and go from there. I had the gringo taco and al pastor taco. Very satisfying and tasty. The flavors marry so well. My friend order the carnitas torta and devoured her food. We also had the guacamole. Now anyone who knows me I am not a real fan of avocados (don't come at me). However, I actually enjoyed their guacamole. The crisp pico inside the guacamole with a squeeze of lime really gave me a delicious bite. I am not a guacamole expert by any means but I would order this again. I also ordered the strawberry horchata aqua fresca. It was a little thin but had great flavor. I think it would make a great ice cream flavor. I brought it home so I can freeze it and make it a slushie. We really enjoyed our meal, the service and the atmosphere. Give it a try.

Best pastor in SA !!! We are so blessed to have several great places in SA that offer some amazing pastor tacos but RoHo just takes it to the next level . I can explain it but I would consider these craft pastor tacos . They have several other great choices but this is what I come for on a regular basis .
