Food was very underwhelming. I had the torta ahogada the pork was bland, bean puree was missing and the red onions definitely didn’t not taste pickled. The high rating brought me so not sure what the hype was about.

Ro-Ho Pork & Bread is a must when in San Antonio. Welcoming and patient staff, clean and organized restaurant and most importantly the food is delicious! I had the Torta Ahogada, first time and I loved it. Also had a al pastor taco which was very good too. Their agua de horchata is tasty. I definitely need to come back next time I'm in San Antonio.

I’m a bit confused on this place and the reviews. I hate write bad reviews but for all the good ones that brought me there, they need to hear the bad too. I got a carnitas torta. The main issue was that all things were way too salty. Like inedible and I will usually finish anything and could not. The tomato broth was very unflavored and the pickled items were not pickled…the sandwich didn’t have the bean puree…I definitely think they have much better items, but it had to be said because it was really disappointing. I should have said something but I don’t really do that. Just be aware it may not meet the reviews

This place was just Okay. Found it to be over priced and over hyped.Almost $50 for 2 plates and 2 drinks. Waited a year to make the trip out to visit to be disappointed by the food and service. Establishment was rather empty, just one other customer at the time , my torta's meat was cold so when I brought it up to the employee behind the counter she took it away without letting me even know if she was replacing it or heating it up ,i was so confused but i could hear the 2 employees talking about it behind the counter. Not knowing if they were bothered by my comment we didn't even feel comfortable enough to let them know that the tortillas de harina from our 2nd order of the tacos of trompo were cold as well. We still had to get up to get my own salt, to go plates, then again for a to go bag, no attention to customers either so not sure what the tip you give up front when you pay is for. This was just our experience, hopefully it was an off day for them because what i saw on tv when i learned of this place was FAR from my experience. I wouldn't make the trip to go back.
