A great place to eat. We stayed in hospital 9 days and I ate there everyday. Sandwiches were amazing and the hamburger bowl was great. We also had pasta salad and different desserts. You can’t go wrong eating here. We have enjoyed everything we tried. Staff is friendly and quick to get your food to you. One of the best places to pick up a bite to eat. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

My husband was at Stone Oak Methodist for 2 weeks. During that time, I frequented this coffee shop daily. The coffee is very good. The staff members are awesome. Very friendly and caring.

This place was amazing on so many level let’s begin with the fact that it’s inside a hospital and has low reviews so expectations were already not set high. Literally had to come back to read over the reviews and realized they were petty reasons like pricing and wait time, both inevitable in the food industry. Pricing was actually super super affordable, portions were hearty and quality better than most spots in the city. Spent 3 days in the hospital had fresh expresso, an amazing chicken sandwich one of the best I’ve ever had actually super filled and delicious hearty but bread to compliment it, a perfectly toasted all American Ciabatta and Fajita stuffed bake potato. Service was amazing guys stocking fridges super attentive and kind. Wish I’d taken more pics. This spot was unique and paid attention to detail.

It’s in a hospital, Rosella coffee hits the spot. My favorite was spinach empanada. Excellent coffee, the wait is a little long, because it’s very popular.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rosella Coffee – Methodist Hospital
Rosella Coffee at the Methodist Hospital offers a nice little stop for a caffeine break. The coffee itself is actually good — flavorful and freshly brewed — and the matcha we tried was equally enjoyable. You can tell they put some effort into what they serve.
However, the pricing feels a bit steep for what you get. Paying around $2.50 for a small black coffee seems excessive, especially given that it’s just a simple brew. It’s hard to justify that kind of markup, even in a hospital setting.
As for the staff, they’re mostly students, and while they might be laughing and chatting behind the counter, that shouldn’t be seen as unprofessional. They’re friendly, lighthearted, and bring a bit of positive energy to the place — something actually nice to see in a hospital café environment.
Overall, Rosella Coffee earns three stars. The drinks are solid, the atmosphere is fine, but the prices are definitely the biggest drawback. If they adjusted their rates a little, it could easily be a four-star spot.

I was in the area and decided to stop by and get some coffee, and I had heard good things about this place from a couple of friends, but honestly the whole experience was just not great. It took a while to get service, and the baristas had a bit of an attitude, like I was interrupting something. The coffee was ok but the service really left a sour taste in my mouth.

I don't want to hear their inappropriate, personal conversations while I eat.
No thank you

I’ve never had a good experience here, the staff is rude and ignores customers laugning n giggling to themselves as if they’re not at work! Specifically Julia and Ezra being the worst two people to work there. If they weren’t there id probably rate 3 stars because they’re the most disrespectful people I’ve met.

I’m absolutely appalled at the ridiculous reviews below, whoever reads this Please disregard all of them . I should know best as I recently spent 12 FULL days there , my mother even literally slept there nightly with my dad and the staff were extremely hard working. I NEVER saw the poor things stop pumping, moving , ALWAYS SMILING, chatting from dawn to 11pm at night even on weekends to make ALL the customers in this hospital feel comforted and cared for. Going that extra mile. I watched it.
Gabby and the team followed and cared for my personal journey in the beautiful Methodist hospital with my darling father, with the most caring, empathetic hearts whilst serving the most beautifully made coffee and all drinks and food , heated and treated with care. My Mexican mother approved of the breakfast tacos and that’s a big call as she hates eating out. We had no other option during this time and thank God this was the option. The food was delicious , fresh and the managerial team worked harder than anything I’ve ever seen before, I even threatened to kidnap them to Australia where I own and run a very small version of Rosella cafe which pales in comparison on all levels. I serve specialty coffee with some of the best baristas in Australia and was very happy with all the coffee and alternative drinks prepared for my family & I by Rosella’s team and normally hate American coffee. I’m not sure where other “baristas” below have worked before but Australia rates close to Italy in coffee quality.
Cleanliness, restocking everything was spot on and comforted us all during the absolute worst time of our lives’. I am sick and tired Of reading people give bad reviews when they have no idea what it feels like to run and own a business of their own. Things are a hell of a lot easier said than done when you have no clue about business or the risks taken to serve your community. Everyone on bloody google thinks they’re Anthony Bourdain.
Either way Thank you to Pablo and the team at Rosella you are kicking goals and my family really appreciated all you did. Your empanadas, tacos, matcha & Mexican street corn were incredible
And your gelato cup made my daddy smile in his last weeks. God Bless .

Best coffee and sandwiches
As a barista myself, I can confidently say this is the worst coffee place I have ever been to. The other day my grandmother was having surgery early in the morning and I stopped to get a latte. The young girls working behind the counter WITH their manger behind them were talking amongst themselves, laughing loudly and eating food while blatantly ignoring me. When I finally had my order taken, the girl behind the counter was soo rude and short, like she was annoyed I was even there. She rolled her eyes multiple times all while still chewing her food. Ew. The manager working did not seem to care at all. I waited over 10 minutes, there was no other customers. The girls behind the counter were still laughing, talking about me saying oh yeah she must be in a rush haha. Yeah I was in a rush my elderly grandmother is having a major surgery. You work at a coffee shop inside a hospital. Please grow up and show some maturity, this is not a good look for you. Yes I was annoyed with the poor customer service and being laughed at, I also needed to get back to the waiting room. I finally just went up to the counter and asked the manager for a refund before my drink was even ready. The girl working didnt even know how to give me a receipt so I just left.
Horrible place.
