Round Table Pizza - Tacara

I had heard about @roundtablepizzasanantonio, so we thought to check it out this past Sunday for lunch. It’s located in Tacara in the same plaza as Chicken Salad Chick.

They had the TVs ready for game day and we were ready to eat some game day food. We started with the 6-piece wings in Polynesian flavor. Hubby had one trip to the salad bar. You can choose the unlimited trip to the salad bar as an option. We all shared the medium-sized pizza with half pepperoni and half Hawaiian (Dad’s favorite). I had the Pineapple East Cider beer, Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby had an Arnold Palmer.

A little bit of history…@roundtablepizza started in 1959 in Menlo Park, California. This location opened in June and is locally owned and operated. Check out if you’re in the northside or their other locations.

I ordered a pizza to-go. It was a simple pepperoni pizza, it was ready at the prescribed time. Checkout was easy, website was easy to use when ordering. The pizza was really good, nice proportions, flavor was perfect. We'll be back soon.

The pizza is great when I walked in there was even a worker waiting to open. The door for us, great service and fast with great wings and pizza. The place is new and would reccomend.

Pizza is good, not the best, but fairly good. However the experience is awful. I ordered online and went to pickup not too late, around 8:45 PM, and the staff didn’t allow me to eat inside, although the restaurant was empty. Apparently they didn’t want to clean any more tables for the day. I fell very humiliated.

Ordered the supreme pizza, wings and churros. The pizza was good. The wings were soggy and the buffalo mild sauce didn't have the typical buffalo taste you normally get and the chicken tasted old. We ended up throwing them out. The churros were okay. The bread was kind of hard. Overall this place is average.

I haven't been to round table in over 30 yrs since I left Cali. Pizza did remind me of red barons but still good. Great service, atmosphere and service. Definitely recommend and will be going back!

It was our first time here. We tried the wings, the pepperoni pizza and the bbq chicken pizza. All we're very flavorful. Will definitely return
