Attended recently and the service from the MEXICAN waitress is just pissed poor. She behaved as if she’s doing me a favor with her nasty attitude. Came across as if she saying I should share my food with the rest of the crew. Assumed as if she knew what my intentions are. What audacity! That was last time going to that place as THE FOOD IS GENERALLY TOUGH!

YOU WONT REGET IT; me and my partner have been to China in, Lees, China Bistro and China Star and lemme tell you; we have not gonna back to any of those after trying Royal inn (nothing against all the other restaurants, they still have very tasty food if Royal isn’t available!) The food is delicious with great portions, very affordable too. The service is AMAZING! They’re very attentive to any “special directions” you note (I would know since I always ask for fried rice without green onion). Staff is welcoming and friendly, they’ve even started recognizing us when we walk in due to how frequently we go. Overall, if you’re looking for some delicious, quick, and affordable Asian food, Royal Inn is the perfect place! I recommend the sesame chicken, fried rice, and egg drop soup! You won’t regret it, we didn’t!

Royal Inn Staff was excellent everyone was so attentive and nice! The lunch was absolutely delicious, both fresh and hot like I like my food and no MSG which is rare in San Antonio Chinese...freshly made! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the medical center area!

My hubby and I ate lunch here for the first time and we each got the lunch specials and a order of the steamed bbq pork buns. Everything was delicious! They are quick to take your order and the food portions were great for the cost. The servers also go around with refills often so you can guarantee you won't run out of drinks! Well the tea and waters anyway.lol We don't live in this area but man I wish we did so we could eat here again! Would recommend.??

This is a restaurant with very good food. And very very affordable prices. If you arrive early <3:00 pm they give you a discount for lunch. They speak Spanish and Cantonese. The food is very well served and very well presented.
