It was very delicious..I diffently would go again.
The food is always on point! I bite my Tongue and never say a word! Normally take my food to go because Miranda upfront is so rude! Multiple times she has been rude and you can hear and see her being rude to other employees! Don’t even bother telling the manager I’m assuming she’s his girlfriend (work spouse) by the way they interact. He doesn’t fix anything!
Great BBQ here in West Side! The Brisket is off the charts!

Rusty Bucket JawSmacking BBQ offers a great dining experience with tender and tasty BBQ, generous portions, and friendly customer service. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, making it a good spot for a date. The menu features impressive dishes like the Smack Down, Smac Attack Potatoes, and the Farmer’s Chop Sandwich, which are sure to satisfy any appetite.
The food is consistently delicious, with highlights such as the pork ribs that are soft and flavorful, and the turkey that is lean and tasty. Many customers praise the brisket for its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and perfect smoke ring. The loaded potato with BBQ sauce is a favorite, along with sides like potato salad, spicy green beans, and mac n cheese. The ribs are especially tender and juicy, and the sausage is well-liked.
The restaurant's vintage Texas-themed decor adds charm, creating a unique dining atmosphere. Customers often enjoy the three types of barbecue sauce on the table: honey, sweet, and regular, with the regular being a favorite. The place is family-friendly and has picnic tables with attached bench seats, which can be a bit difficult for some. There are two TVs, one in the front and one in the back, and the restaurant is clean, with separate restrooms for men and women.
While the prices are a little high, the quality of the food makes it worthwhile, especially for those traveling from afar. Some customers suggest adding fried items like fried okra, fried zucchini, or onion rings to the menu. Parking might be scarce during busy times, and outdoor seating can be too hot for some. Overall, Rusty Bucket JawSmacking BBQ is a highly recommended spot for anyone who loves BBQ.
