Looked like a nice place, so some friends and I went over to check it out. The brisket and ribs were extremely dry, almost to jerkey. The pulled pork needed a lot more seasoning, as it tasted almost like nothing. One of the worst experiences I've had for BBQ. Will not be back.

First time there, recommended from a tik tok review. Food was excellent. Had the pulled pork, baked regular potato and the cole slaw. EXCELLENT! Sandwich and potato were huge, cole slaw was very good. Fast service. Had our meal within 5-10 minutes.

The food was great. Especially the sweet potato casserole. A bit sad the brisket was dry. Blacks BBQ on a budget. You really can't beat good BBQ for this price! Best I've had in SA so far!

Cool atmosphere but the food was not good. We got the Lone Ranger Combo. Chicken was 5/10. Brisket 4/10. Sausage was 3/10. The chicken was well cooked and tender. The Brisket was boiled which made it bland and had no bark. The sausage was also boiled then grilled. This made it chewy and the skin hard to eat. I had the spicy green beans as my side. It too was bland and tasted musky. Their sauce was 5/10 and I think the spicy sauce was what masked the bland flavors. Cool place but the food needs lots of work! The best part was the chocolate chip cookies 🍪 they were 7/10.

We ordered around 5 pm maybe should’ve gone to bill millers or maybe we just ordered too late majority of my brisket was like leftover brisket of whatever was laying in the fat I like marbled but majority of my brisket was fat and ribs were old. But the sides are amazing but for my second time getting old food we just threw the rest away sadly money going in the trash probably would just stay away next time at least we gave it a second chance .

Parking was horrible and the best plate for lunch was a measley chopped burger and side, no drink, (separate charge for a lunch special).
And it wasn't a knock your socks off sandwich.
Mind you, I understand prices are high right now but, in this economy, you should be more mindful as a business owner.
Considering others were willing to shell out high dollars for a BBQ plate, meh.
I've been served more at a lesser price and location.
No photos to add.
Crowded and limited seating inside.

I travel across the country weekly and always sample the local BBQ. This is how you do BBQ! Brisket was moist and tender, ribs peel right off the bone. The flavor is top notch! You can usually tell how good the BBQ is by the flavor off the sidedishes, at the Rusty Bucket, everything is incredible.

Delicious 😋 my fave is the brisket sandwich with a side of rice and broccoli. The smoked chicken is good if you’re watching your diet too.
