First time there, recommended from a tik tok review. Food was excellent. Had the pulled pork, baked regular potato and the cole slaw. EXCELLENT! Sandwich and potato were huge, cole slaw was very good. Fast service. Had our meal within 5-10 minutes.
The food was great. Especially the sweet potato casserole. A bit sad the brisket was dry. Blacks BBQ on a budget. You really can't beat good BBQ for this price! Best I've had in SA so far!
Cool atmosphere but the food was not good. We got the Lone Ranger Combo. Chicken was 5/10. Brisket 4/10. Sausage was 3/10. The chicken was well cooked and tender. The Brisket was boiled which made it bland and had no bark. The sausage was also boiled then grilled. This made it chewy and the skin hard to eat. I had the spicy green beans as my side. It too was bland and tasted musky. Their sauce was 5/10 and I think the spicy sauce was what masked the bland flavors. Cool place but...
