Tried the lunch special chili relleno. This plate came with salad, rice, beans, and 2 flour tortillas. You also get complimentary chips and salsa. Everything was delicious and the price was great. Service was excellent and the interior was clean and well lit. I enjoyed dining here for sure.

Kind of an iconic breakfast taco stand. But the take-away tacos are only average quality. But the tortillas are always fresh. Check your take out order before you walk away - I’ve been short-taco’d a couple of times.

I enjoyed every moment. I sat outside the Sun was shining and the wind was just the perfect touch alongside their beautiful patio area adorned with Plantitas bonitas. The Server was a delight, giving A1 customer service with a smile and good cheer. I enjoyed the fajita with shrimp topped with onions and bell pepper, rice, beans added cheese and their delicious salsa and chips. Most definitely recommend. If you are in the area and would love a tasty and great Authentic Mexican food for a Great price! Stop in. The pictures do no justice to the taste.

It's an older restaurant...... We've been there a few times over the years...... This day's service was so slow.... Long time to get a menu then a long time to get our order placed..... And I swear I think it was 20 minutes before we even got food........ But everybody enjoyed what they got..... Chicken mole....Carne Asada, Barbacoa, .... Very fresh.....big servings.... And wonderful homemade corn tortillas.....I can't remember what my other friend got...... Then we totally forgot to take pictures by the time we got our food we were just ready to eat it and go.

A friend got me tacos from this place. Had to ask where they got them from, came on my own the next day. Very delicious! Thank you!

Terrible place, all the waiters with bad faces spent more than 20 minutes without attending to us and they only looked at us and just passed by and didn't even notice. Another family arrived many later and they did have their order taken. Honestly, don't go, there are better places than this one.

Food and staff are so awesome. Go almost every Sunday and they greet us like family. Absolutely awesome people and food

Me and my friend and my 2 kids went to Ruthie’s on 9/26/24 and nas served us. In my 35 years of I think that was the best customer service I’ve experienced. He was very attentive, funny, and just all around awesome. It was my daughter’s birthday and he was so kind to her. Thank you nas for the wonderful customer service! ?

Out of all the taco houses in San Antonio, this one ranks very high. This is a legit place and some of the top Mexican food chains such as Las Palapas and Aw Chiwawa can be traced back to this amazing taco house.
