Ruth's Chris Steak House

We had a celebratory party of 10. The service was not paced well— much too slow. One side was very undercooked and it took a very long time to get another dish. My son's steak was not properly cooked and again the return time was slow. My husband asked for a second glass of Chianti and it too came so late he thought about saying he didn't want it overall , I was not pleased with the service and quality of the food.

As always, the service is the absolute best! We shared the porterhouse steak for 2 with the addition of the scallops and it was fantastic! Of course I always have to have the creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin. The apple dessert is amazing.

The food, atmosphere, service and staffers were all excellent. The noise level was very good until a large party was sat behind us and then the noise level raised greatly. We were waiting for our dessert to be served though so we weren't there much longer.

Always our go to for special occasions and just regular visits when we are craving a steak. Thanks to the team for always taking great care of us! Gabriel for walking mom to the table, Chris at the bar for having my drink ready by the time we sat and Sara for stopping by to say hello. Our waitress was new to us but she did a wonderful job!

Our dinning experience was absolutely fantastic. The food was delish as always. Our waiter Hash was attentive and made great recommendations.

Exceptional service from front door to finish at this location. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The drinks served smart. The wedge salad a cut above all others on San Antonio. The gumbo is spot on. Best of all, the my treat you like family. Highest recommendation for any and all occasions.

The food and service are always great. It's clearly a “locals” destination. We've gone a couple of times and it has a good vibe. Once you become a “regular “ the service elevates. Joey was our server and was attentive and professional.

Our seared tuna and voodoo shrimp appetizers were excellent as usual, the new spinach/artichoke dip did not meet our standards.

The adult beverages could be improved. They fall very short in comparison to the rest of the experience.

What a great place! The food was superb and customer service was unbelievable! These were the best servers I’ve ever experienced! Kudos to this restaurant! They’re one of the best! They helped celebrate my wife, son, and granddaughter!

Ruth's Chris never disappoints. Glad to see some old favorites back on the special anniversary menu. Gabriel is an outstanding waiter.

Amazing food! Was hot, delicious and good proportions. Our waiter was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive and so pleasant! Not just to us but to all the tables he was serving! Ambience was romantic and calming.

Service was excellent and meal outstanding. Sara made sure my guests and I had a perfect evening.

Gabriel made an amazing experience even better!
