Always the best experience at Ruth Chris, specifically at the bar. From the minute we are greeted by Sara to the professionalism by the entire team in the bar (Chris, Matt, Freddy, Sher, Joey and John, etc), we always feel at welcome here. The food is wonderful and drinks are incredible! Can’t thank this team enough for their hospitality!

What am amazing experience possibly the best Ruth experience ever.
Matt was our bartender/server he was exceptional and all the accompanying staff was incredible. Thank you Carlos was lovely chatting and meeting you. What a lovely Christmas home away from home.

I have to say 5 star service our server John was amazing Sara stopped by also she was also awesome actually there was several of the team stopped and talked maybe because we was celebrating my wife's birthday but either way service and food was over the top

Gabriel the server was amazing. I had a very bad experience at a local bbq restaurant and had to go somewhere I knew I would be treated well and the food would be good. I was tense from the experience beforehand and everyone at Ruth's Chris turned my day around. Stuffed chicken breast is so good! Don't get stuck on eating just the steak. Pair it with mashed potatoes and pinot noir.

Was there on the 28th celebrating my birthday and thanksgiving. Have been there many times and always thoroughly enjoyed it. This time the first cut on my filet I thought I was using my butter knife. No, it was just a difficult to cut. The other three people joining me experienced the same thing. I am not a complainer. The steak can be from medium-rare to medium and I am a happy guy. I can't blame the chef or the server, the meat just wasn't that good. I know everything is more expensive today but when I pay more, I expect the quality to be there.

I’ve always loved Ruth Chris, especially the one on Jones Maltzburger. And I know they’ve had a tough time through Covid and post Covid just like everybody else, but today I met some friends there and the service was impeccable, the drinks were fabulous, and the food was great. It’s so nice to see a place working so hard to maintain its place here in San Antonio. The happy hour menu is wonderful and offers a nice array of specialty drinks..

And a special shout out to the brothers Joey and Freddy, and another bartender Matt. They provided Five Star service.

Best steaks we've had! Nothing like this back home in the RGV! Steaks were hot until the last bite! Beth is an amazing server. Patient with our questions and very respectful! Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary.

Our Thanksgiving dinner at Ruth’s Chris was nothing short of spectacular. Despite the restaurant being packed with guests, the service was seamless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It's clear that the team knows how to handle the holiday rush without sacrificing any of the quality or attention to detail that Ruth's Chris is known for. Through out our meal many of the staff took their time to stop by and wish us a happy thanksgiving!

My mother had the special Thanksgiving menu and she stated it was a true delight. I enjoyed a medium rare petite filet and it was nothing short of perfection. Each dish was crafted with care, and it was obvious that Ruth’s Chris didn’t cut any corners just because it was a busy holiday.

The highlight, of course, was the exceptional service. Our server Joey was not only attentive but also personable and professional, ensuring that we felt right at home even in the hustle of a busy Thanksgiving day.

Last week, I dined at one of your restaurants and had a frustrating experience. The food was good but I noticed my credit card was charged twice for my meal. After realizing this, I spoke to the manager and he assured me that it would be resolved and if it wasn't resolved for me to call the restaurant and he would take care of it. When I call the restaurant no one answered. Unfortunately, this double charge has caused unnecessary financial stress and I'm extremely disappointed with the restaurant's handling of this situation and feel it should have been fixed when I initially addressed the issue with the manager. Now I will need to schedule time in my busy day to proceed and contact the restaurant to obtain my refund.
Ruth Chris did not deliver one of the best dining experiences in the world

On 4 occasions and I have been to dinner at this place, the first two, everything was fine, the 3rd time and today, the last time I had dinner, they brought us the meat practically raw when we asked for it well cooked. I didn't even ask for them to cook it anymore because it takes 30 minutes, so Don't even waste time, my husband's rib eye almost bleeding arrived at the table, and my chop steak was ground beef, what a disappointment, 70 dollars for two people and a meal that we disliked, I will never go back again.
